It's hard for me to say. I guess it depends on my condition. I have trouble sleeping on planes, and my severe motion sickness prevents me from reading. I always need to take pills for motion sickness before getting on a plane. The side effect of the pills is drowsiness. If I took pills and don't feel too drowsy, I think I prefer to read.

I feel it's more solid. Digital information and items are easily lost.

Window is better for my motion sickness because I can easily see the horizon out the window. Otherwise I am going to be staring at my neighbor the whole time which they probably won't appreciate.

I can understand that because I have severe motion sickness. Not even sitting by the window and looking out helps. I have to take pills for motion sickness before I get on the plane or any form of public transportation.
