Instead of tracking game-provided waypoints to your next objective to meet an NPC and/or fulfill a mission objective and advance the story, you can just beeline through a handful of bosses and head straight to the endgame area
Like, the open-world fluff is still there, but it's wholly optional save for a few areas/bosses. And I'd argue that the fluff in Elden Ring is ten times as engaging and rewarding as the fluff in say, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but that's my opinion --- What's better than roses on your piano? If the rest of the GOP weren't spineless cowards, they'd take Gaetz and Co to task for being miserable shitheads and figure out a way to root them out and dispose of them, but unfortunately the entire party is beholden to Trump's voters so they're in a stalemate.
This is why more levelheaded moderates are walking into the sunset (Joe Walsh, Mitt Romney), they know the party is fucked until Trump's influence is flushed out. They need his seemingly unflappable voterbase, and no one has yet figured out how to appeal to Trump's followers without alienating them, in no small part due to the fact that anyone who challenges Trump ends up squarely in his crosshairs, and Trump's base loves him most when he's on the attack.

| Far-Queue 10/03/23 12:00:37 PM #8 | Finished it. Puzzles are interesting, not too complex. Had a couple that took me a few minutes to figure out but nothing agonizing. Visuals and sound design are great. Music is awesome.
Continually impressed with how these devs use such a minimalist approach and still create fun, interesting, and engaging games. Whole game is literally played with the left direction stick for movement and one button for actions. That's it. Not much replay value (afaik) unless you manage not to find all of the Moon Ancestors. None of them are particularly well-hidden, but my brother missed one in his first playthrough. Finding/not finding them doesn't affect the ending outside of a small visual detail. Fun game overall. I was able to consistently dodge behind human enemies and deal that fury attack. Used it on the Mad Donkey and The Atoned (unfortunately didn't handle the dialog for The Atoned properly lol)
Chose the double dodge P-Organ upgrade and now my timing dodging behind humans is all off. I'm admittedly mediocre at Souls-likes but I'm having more difficulty than usual with the combat in this game. Still enjoying it. Thankfully it feels much more forgiving than proper Souls titles (so far) I'm well into Moonlight Town right now --- What's better than roses on your piano? Tulips on your organ. |

That sometimes looks or sounds herculean, but it's all the Dems require.Agreed, to an extent... but the GOP is pulling out all the stops to misinform their potential voters, and to manipulate/gerrymander the upcoming elections. They know they don't have the numbers and they'll pull every trick in the book and then some to make up the difference. Best to not allow for reticence or languidness with that in mind. Also, I'd love for the Dems to do more than just "not fuck up" and actually make some headway with meaningful policy, but given the current hyper-partisan climate I fully realize that's a tall ask --- What's better than roses on your piano?
