I think it'd be great if they continued reviewing basic math up through highschool for 15-20 minutes. It's easy to forget and just needs a little maintenance. A lot of young people struggle with higher math, but could really benefit from keeping their basics solid.

I'll back up the detractors of the cube with dissing on the D-pad. That sucked hard. The C-stick I could deal with. there were a few dual-stick shooters and they worked fine.

The two things the controller had going for it (and still do frankly) are the shoulder triggers and the notched housing for the control stick. The level of control with those shoulder buttons was on par with a gas pedal or something. Luigi's vacuum controlled so damn well with that.

and the notched housing around the control stick was great for locking in directions. It still drives me bonkers trying to play Super Monkey Ball on PS2 without that.

My sister and I got a Gamecube, controllers, memory cards, Animal Crossing and Double Dash!! for Christmas...2003? Only time I ever got a video game console for Christmas, that was major. Ended up playing tons of those (obviously), and a ton of F-Zero GX, Mario Party 6, Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Paper Mario TTYD, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Konga 2 and Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. I had lots of friends to borrow games from, so that's how I played Wind Waker, Prime 1 + 2, Baten Kaitos, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi;s Mansion, Pikmin 1 + 2, and Resident Evil 4.

Played a lot of multiplayer of all those, plus Starfox Assault even! My friends and me even did 4-player Zelda Four Swords Adventure and Crystal Chronicles. I only recall beating Zelda though.

AND they do it live. I really haven't heard any other death metal that stuck with me like this. There's so much interesting technicality, more jazzy elements than I typically hear in extreme metal, and great use of classical modes too.

More to note. There has already been a dispora of Palestinians, nearly a million in 1948 when they were forcefully displaced. This was through no fault of their own, and was a direct result of not their own violence, but violence brought upon them.

Which 'other Muslim countries' don't accept them? Some do, some don't. Jordan is a Muslim country. Syria too. Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Egypt also have large Palestinian populations. Most of them accept Palestinians. There are large refugee camps in all these countries. It's a bit of a common misnomer to state that Muslim countries don't accept Muslim refugees. They also generally support the right of Palestine to exist, so they don't necessarily want to be complicit in shipping them all off their land.

Why can't it be Palestinian territory that is 'secured'? They had a secure homeland until Britain decided to plop a new state there. I still support Jewish right to live there - if you look at history, it's pretty split between Muslim and Jewish rule. Still, it's odd that you suggest that "Israeli" territory needs securing when it has been Palestinian territory that has been constantly eroded since Israel's inception. Hell, the West Bank is filled with neighborhoods where Palestinians were forcefully moved and then Israelis set up in those neighborhoods.

I also keep hearing extensive usage of the 'human shields' claim as it has existed for decades now. What are the present examples in the current conflict? It's like when Israel says there's a Hamas base under a refugee camp. Is there? Can you show me how you ascertained this? Was it not discovered through technical means that could be demonstrated? Was the civilian population notified? Were the best military tactics used to accomplish the intended goal? We are never given this data when other countries provide it readily.

You say that Hamas 'probably forces civilians to remain in targeted areas'. We can't rest claims on 'probably'.

God I hate someone doing 'medicine' making being an influencer a prominent part of their life.

Chiro is such a weird one. I had a great chiro for a while when I threw my back out. He taught me a lot of physio stuff and he said he went to a lot of seminars. My GF at the time though got totally whacky treatment from him for her TMJ issue. From what I can perceive, half of chiros are complete nuts, and the other half are earnest good people who believe in something that doesn't necessarily stack up against other methodologies (physio, massage). The more I've looked into studies, the more it seems like chiro is mostly just placebo. If your chiro is a good person giving you good exercises, you'll definitely still get good care. And of course just being paid attention to with compassion is a big help. I'm not going to fault anyone for enjoying or finding benefit from a chiropracter, but it really smells even more fishy when there are a large amount of influencers in the biz.
