Planning to main a close range lightweight build, with shotgun and smg on my arms and laser swords on my shoulder bays to swap between. If I can dual wield laser swords then I would have them on both bays. Would fucking love if you can dual wield them but not sure if it's been confirmed. Glad that there are handheld laser swords though rather than just arm mounted ones. Otherwise it would be a laser blade on one shoulder bay and the other shoulder might have a missile pod.

I'm skeptical, only because Yoshimitsu's picture is a bunch of illegible colours and shapes. The whole "handheld shaky-cam" thing is a feint that fake leakers do sometimes to legitimise their leaks, I think by fudging the Yoshi picture they're trying to bank on the fact that he usually looks alien and weird and wouldn't come out right in a picture like this.

Also, look at the second screenshot. Azucena is the only new character with a fleshed out description, and she's the only newcomer who's been revealed. We already know her personality is "muh coffee". Victor is a generic-ass soldier dude and Reina's description is a poorly done fanfic plot. I wouldn't put it past modern Tekken, and I'll eat my words if it's true, but I think the other two newcomers being so bare bones compared to the one new character we already know are a sign that this is fake. Reina in particular makes me think the leaker is trolling.

So yeah, I'm skeptical.

Bro please look at the date of that second pic. It was posted back in fucking April. They got Azucena right months before the reveal. The leaked character select screen was posted before the Azucena and Raven reveal and their renders match in that leaked pic. Reina and Victor are real and are in that character select screen. Heihachi has a secret daughter. Time to eat your words.

His voice actor is dead so they try to bury the character with him. That's why in TTT2 it's Young Heihachi, so they can use another voice actor.

Persona 5 did a twist on this, but people rarely know.

But his voice actor for Heihachi since TTT2 was Unsho Ishizuka who also died. He's currently on like his third VA now who's Taiten Kusunoki so if Heihachi appears in flashbacks or anything moving forward they're probably gonna use him.

Yeah I'm just a bit annoyed, they made a flashy animation of her slashing a few enemies in this trailer to top it off, but it just seems to be for flavouring and not representing gameplay. I dunno they could've let us melee with her.

Also Acacia Redacted is my favourite to use. Her dagger throwing is fun but I'm disappointed you can't do melee strikes with them. When I watched her trailer I thought that's what she would be able to do but it was misleading and I'm disappointed. And just the whole artwork with her holding the daggers and her animations and stuff.

I thought there was a rumour that there will be two protagonists, one black man as mentioned here and one kunoichi. I wish that would at least be true because I was hoping to play a cute kunoichi. I prefer ninja way more than samurai.

Thanks for the explanation man. And yeah pump action shotguns are my favourite types of guns so it's really nice when they're satisfying to use in games. I like Fenny too. I pulled Acacia Redacted and I'm interested in using her because she seems she might be the Watanabe of the game with the dual daggers. So I'm looking forward to using her.

Pretty much but don't go too nuts on it. All the beginner banner gives you is a set number of pulls at a discount rate for 10-pulls and a guaranteed 5* in 50 pulls instead of the usual 80. Since it doesn't have a time limit on it, I'm going to pull on it over time as I accumulate regular gacha tickets. The discount is also not tied to getting a 5*. I already got one from it and I still have another 10 pulls left.

5* units aren't a priority in this game as of its current iteration. That may change in the future but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Then what reason would I have to use the regular banner with the guaranteed 5* in 80 pulls over the beginner one? What advantage or difference is there with the regular one outside of the guarantee?

Also let me say that one shotting mooks in the head with a shotgun is damn satisfying. This is a game I have to be playing with a keyboard and mouse.

I unlocked the gacha in Snowbreak. Is the beginner banner good to go for?

It's the same for me. The only time I open up games on my phone is just to check in really quick, do logistics, and quickly burn off stamina in auto-battle. I prefer playing on an Android emulator or a PC client.

Okay, I started Snowbreak on the PC client. No stuttering or lagging issues for me. The game runs very smooth, even with all the settings at max. I'm currently on a laptop with a mobile 4060 and playing with a Playstation 5 controller, by the way. I hear the mobile version of this game isn't great, so it's probably going to be more of a "best played on PC" type game like Genshin.

Right out of the gate, I'm already seeing some big changes from when I played the beta. Not just the new gameplay mechanics, the story is different! In the beta, the player character was some random nobody hinted to be a corpse donation to the company for research after he and his sister died from the First Descent. The only people you recognize are Lyfe and Fenny. No one knows who you are and you're treated as a potential hostile then threatened by T to work for the company in exchange for a nebulous promise to help you get your memories back or else die.

Now it's changed to where you are a member of the company who knows who everyone is and everyone seems to recognize you back. The devs kept the amnesia part the same but really toned it down. Also, Fenny appears much sooner, even as just a voice, and the MC starts seeing the sister from the very beginning instead of later in the story. There was also nothing about the MC having Theotropic Nerves. I'll stop there since I only covered the very beginning of the game.

The enemy AI is somewhat better but is still a little too easy, imo. Then again, it's still the beginning of the game, so eh. The boss fights are a step up from the beta.

You can reroll but there there's no point in doing it. Also, it's super tedious to do. Just stick with who you get from the gacha and use the selector ticket when you get it.

I'm sure I'll have no issues running the game either. Also Kinoko sings the launcher song? Fucking based. I love her.

Also to be honest I might like the beta story setup more from how you're describing it. It sounds more interesting. The final one sounds more normal but I guess there can still be twists and turns and give the same vibes the beta story does later.

Snowbreak: Containment Zone goes live on the 20th of July @ 10 am China Standard Time. Here on the west coast of the U.S., that's 7 pm (UTC-7, DST) on the 19th. You can adjust from those two time zones accordingly or use World Time Buddy. As for what type of game it is, it's an anime 3rd-person shooter action-RPG set in a sci-fi, post-cataclysm city on Earth that borrows heavily from Norse mythology.

It says you can pre-download the game but I've seen several reports of broken download links, so maybe try after the game launches or something. The client is on the usual mobile platforms and there's a PC client.

Remember that this is a new game launch, so temper your expectations. Bad launches are known to be a thing. This one could go either way. I played the game in the recent beta and, while it was rather rough around the edges and on the easy side, I think the game has promise. Hopefully the devs won't screw this one up but we'll see.

Once you complete a certain stage in Chapter 5, you'll get a selector ticket to receive one free top rarity character of your choosing. I can't comment on every one of them but I really liked Yao: Winter Solstice for her normal skill's powerful ammo. It's great on single targets. YMMV.

Edit: Right now, speculation is going wild over what his damage type will be. The primary guess is that he'll replace Lucia Plume as the ice team's attacker.
