You realize that every time a servicemember moves overseas, they do exactly what you claim is so difficult? Tens of thousands of moves every years, but it's just so hard! And they leave behind their extended family, too. Sometimes even leaving their close family, in the case of deployments or a tour in South Korea. Moving overseas is not as hard as you think it is. I definitely think this is part of it, Gen X just seems to not care. I just think of them hanging out, going to grunge and punk rock shows, not concerning themselves with all the nonsense. While millennials are famous for like avocados and harry potter (and I love harry potter so Im a victim of this too). But I feel like millennials got this reputation of being like soccer moms and dorks that Gen Z is far too cool for, and Gen X was looked at more like jaded rockers and skaters or something. It just seems like Millennials got the worst reputation of the bunch where Gen X seemed to grow up pretty well maintaining the coolness of their youth lol and millennials became our corny and overprotective parents Just remember, a lot of Gen X was made up of latchkey-kids. We ended up having to raise ourselves. So a lot of the "not caring" comes from the fact we were ignored. It's a "If you don't want us, fuck off. We'll make our own way." attitude. Hence why punk was a thing back then. That... and the threat of global thermonuclear war. --- "History shows again and again that nature points out the folly of man. Go go Godzilla!" White phosphorous is a war crime. Used on innocent civilians. This is a lie. The use of white phosphorus in combat is allowed. It is a war crime if it's used against humans. However, no reporting has ever stated that the incident you are probably referring to was ever against people. Flooding tunnels with nerve gas that innocent civilians are using to escape the thousands of tons of explosives being rained upon them is a war crime. HAMAS tunnels are not open to the public. Additionally, nobody's done that, so you are trying to set an agenda with a false claim. Collective punishment is a war crime. It could only be considered a war crime if you believe Israeli military forces have been physically occupying the Gaza Strip. Because the key point is that the people targeted are in a territory occupied by a foreign military. So you can say that about Israel and the West Bank... but I highly doubt that's what you're talking about here. I believe you are talking about Gaza in your post. More bombs were dropped on gaza in one week than the US dropped on Afganistan in an entire year. What's your point here? That bombs are a marker for evil? And the more you use, the more evil you are? Israel refused the return of hostages held by Hamas. The Red Cross had to sneak them out themselves. This is another outright lie. HAMAS would not release them to the Israeli military or the Mogen David. HAMAS only accepted handing them over to non-Israelis. The west bank had no Hamas and was still bombed anyway. You omit the why. For there was a cassus belli, a provocation endangering life and limb. Gaza has been an open air prison for seventy years, of course there's going to be resistance. This is another lie. Gaza has not been occupied for 70 years. Between 1948 and 1967, the territory was Egyptian. And again, after 2005, no Israeli civilians or military forces existed within the territory. The occupation lasted 38 years, between 1967 and 2005. Only one side is using this conflict as an excuse to commit genocide. You're disgusting or you're just ignorant. This is slander. For by no metric does Israeli action meet the qualifications for the definition of genocide. --- "History shows again and again that nature points out the folly of man. Go go Godzilla!" Now, maybe it's just me. By the international laws of war, it's considered perfidy and it's considered a war crime to do it. It also means that, again, by the international laws of war, that site can be targeted and destroyed. (Providing it's true, of course. And if it's not, then the attacker will have committed a war crime.) That's why it's so important for countries to ensure they don't use protected sites/symbols for/on their combat forces. You can disagree with that, however, it doesn't change the fact that if Israel attacks the HAMAS base, it's not a war crime. The war crime is HAMAS using it as a base. --- "History shows again and again that nature points out the folly of man. Go go Godzilla!" Godzilla - Blue Oyster Cult |

this conflict didnt start on october 7th shill, it has been going on long before hamas, israel has treaed palestinians like shit for years. Every single one of those were preceded by HAMAS attacks into Israel. Furthermore, by claiming all responsive operations are a war crimes, you imply that Israel cannot react to anything HAMAS does. That was because Israel broke the ceasfire agreement they had on November 4th 2008 while the entire world was in euphoria about United States Electing the worlds first black president. This is actually an outright lie. In 1967, Egypt mobilized it's military to attack Israel and then declared war by conducting an internationally recognized *ACT OF WAR*. Furthermore, at the time Egypt and Syria had merged into one nation, the United Arab Republic, so that *ACT OF WAR* included both parties. Lastly, Jordan jumped in because it had just signed a defense treaty with the United Arab Republic. In no way did Israel initiate that war. they illegally occupied the gaza strip and the west bank in what has been formally condemned ever since 1967 as an illegal occupation in violation of international law unilaterally condemned by the world court, the UN, Geneva Conventions and the Red Cross. Worldwide consensus, the majority of countries of the world all call on israel to return to its pre-june 1967 borders. This, therefore, is a compounded lie. For Israel gained those Egyptian and Jordanian lands in a defensive war. On top of that, Israel offered the lands back in return for peace treaties, but neither Egypt nor Jordan accepted that. Back to 1948 Zionists? You leave out some very salient facts from your narrative. Furthermore, SEVEN Arab nations declared war on Israel - Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Yemen. All at a time when Israel didn't even have an army yet. In addition, these governments and armies all made it abundantly clear that their goal was not to defeat Israel, but to "push them into the sea"... aka: Genocide. yes this sparked a conflict., when you have colonial powers coming into a territory that does not belogn to them and forcibly removing people from their land. it tends to get complicated. To the Israelis, Israeli is their ancestral home, from where they were expelled by the Romans... and that they finally made it back. That is EQUALLY as valid a belief as the Palestinians claiming it as their homeland. If Israeli is the invader to Palestinians; well... Palestinians are the invaders for Israelis. invoking the bible as an excuse to ethnically cleanse a population from its territory is a baby brained middle school argument That's a wholesale disregard for the Israeli claim. Which, by default, means you allow the wholesale disregard of the Palestinian claim. And that does nothing but make the entire conflict more difficult to resolve. Furthermore, the Jewish people have been praying to return back to Israel since the time of the Roman expulsion and the rise of rabbical Judaism. --- "History shows again and again that nature points out the folly of man.
