I always forget about them and the points expire.

HOA fees generally have a purpose and they will have a yearly budget you can express your opinion on. In Hawaii things like plumbing and landscaping are of particular note.. plus paying anyone to work on anything comes at a premium.

Otherwise yeah good luck but be careful out there. lots of scams or situations which are less than ideal. Corporations have bought up / are buying up as much property as they can where they believe they will garner a profit.

an anecdote:

one of the properties I manage has a storage area with multiple storage lockers. Someone decided to store big ol bags of rice in theirs and nobody noticed until we had a mice problem.

The rice was removed and single-dose poison traps set but the problem has persisted. There is generally enough other material in the storage lockers for mice to subsist on but they are starving and surely dehydrated.

Life finds a way.

On the past weekend I noticed that someone placed sticky traps. These are inhumane and I did not approve them so removed immediately once I became aware however one trap had captured three juvenile (and still moving) mice.

Tiny bits of life no larger than your thumb nail.

I picked up the trap and the mice shrieked at me glaring at me with their beady black eyes.

I took them outside and they shrieked as the sunlight shone down on them.. likely for the first time in their lives. Then next I carried them to a nearby stream and dunked them once to keep their bodies wet while I gently pried two of them off the sticky trap (and all their arms and legs intact thankfully). One jumped off my hand and into the stream.. amazingly the mouse knows how to swim! But he was swimming away from shore so I picked him up again and set along the bank so that he could run off into nearby bushes and explore the world for the first time.

The third mouse however was struggling.. it was badly mangled from the trap and had torn fatal bits of its flesh and limbs while trying to escape.

This one wasnt going to make it.. I euthanized it by holding it underwater for a time before removing it from the trap and giving a water burial.

one time I was at the food court having lunch and I set down a box containing a new set of headphones. Lunch was really delicious and after I walked away and about to board my bus when I realized I didnt have the headphones! No nice girl had come up to me to tell me I had forgotten them.. wine lasts a long time so I suggest to have more than two bottles on hand. Usually the type of wine they prefer is sweet or wet.. even though you wont drink it try get a taste of it before, swirl it up and spit it out. This way you can sound convincing if you have to sell them on it later. Vodka.. gin.. a luxury condo has ample space for storing alcohol you yourself have no interest in drinking.

after pandemic I tried to go to public gym again and there are just way too many people, way too young, and half of them stink like body spray.

I occasionally goto a private gym but otherwise I just do BJJ / kickboxing / yoga / hikes / biking and whatever else is fun for me at the time. Its too much of a chore eating to gain appreciable muscle mass so I am just fit (with a minor six pack when I flex it) and 175 lbs @ 60
