Live action Zoro is much too hot. He needs some idiocy to drag him down like in the manga/anime.

Oh he's an idiot still in the sense that he gets lost (twice), they just did it pretty subtle. First time when he runs into Luffy and the marines outside the mansion where he says he was trying to get back. They proceed to turn around and go in the opposite direction Zoro came from. They get inside and agree to split up and search separately, and next time we see Zoro he's back at the front door.

You can think of them as slice of life in video game format that heavily revolve around crafting. The crafting systems change by the game and they do have typical turn-based combat and eventually a story. For the most part though the main appeal is the cast of characters, crafting, and sick music. If you go the min max going after endgame super bosses route, they also get challenging as hell.

It was on my list for quite a while but it kept adding free DLC so I waited for what felt like ages. Then I started it, and they go and announce another free DLC lmao. x.x

Finished my NG+ run of it today. I started the game expecting to enjoy it well enough but I was blown away by it completely. It focuses more on the combat with enemies/bosses but there's some decent platforming sprinkled around. The bosses are creative, hard but fair, exciting. Soundtrack is great. Even the story and its themes were right up my alley. Game takes place inside of a recently deceased space titan and you play what's essentially a black hole, absorbing things as you go that shouldn't have come alive in the first place and the various ways they cope with their existence and impending nonexistence. NG+ isn't even your standard fare of "stuff hits harder" but enemies and bosses both get new mechanics, and there are some NG+ exclusive equipment and a NG+ exclusive super boss that's fun as hell.

It is one of the 2D "Soulslikes" but more generous than others. It has its souls (called mass) but you don't lose them at all upon death. Only thing you lose is Ardor, which is just a mechanic that gives you bonus extra mass after killing enemies. I didn't even pay attention to it tbh. There's a good variety of weapons and armors and there are traits you can learn from absorbing enemies that you can then opt to level up for nice passive perks.

It has one more free DLC coming out for platformer lovers who want something like Hollow Knight's Path of Pain (will be out alongside the Switch port), and they just announced Grime II.

Mistborn would be an ideal first TV series imo. Though I also think Skyward would be great as a movie series.

I'd kill for a Stormlight tv show but I don't know how feasible it would be with how much it has going on. I think it would be costly to do well.

Same. I haven't paid much attention to Neu/Wrio's kits outside of their Q animations, but I'm thinking if it's viable enough I'll just replace Kaeya with Wrio as my freeze team's main DPS.

Just saw the trailer for 4.1 holy crap they really went all in on making it hype. I'm so excited to see what's next and to finally pull on Neuvillette.

Big oof, Yu-Peng Chen left Mihoyo to do his own thing. As a silver lining, I had no idea he hadn't touched Fontaine and I've loved the music there a lot. The music quality is likely in good hands but I'm still a bit nervous about the music for the next weekly boss. Those are biggies for me.

4.1 stream finally confirmed for Friday. I'm looking forward to the trailer, I'm very much ready for more of the main story and world quest continuations.

Yeah those 4* aren't the best lol... I love Dori as a character (JP VA goes hard) but she just sits there in my collection. I do use Chongy in my freeze team though so that'll be okay (watch me not get him at all).

Phase 2 of 4.1 is claimed to be Wriothesley and Venti. 4* units are Thoma, Chongy, and Dori.

One day I'll be able to pull for Venti ;_; Prison warden takes priority for now.

Neuv is my #1 most wanted in Fontaine so I'll be going all in on him.

Leaked 4.1 phase 1 banner looks to be Neuvillette and Hu Tao. 4* characters are Xingqiu, Fischl, and Diona.

Back to building my Yanfei a bit. She's really fun to play as, gonna make her a main dps.

Right!? I've been watching the behind the scenes stuff on Youtube lol. I'm impressed at how even most (all?) of the main cast knows the source material, too. I watched one of those "answer the most Googled OP questions" videos and I was surprised and amused at how they all talked about stuff that's from the last completed arc.

I'm still kind of amused at how I straight up hate Sanji in the manga but in the LA I adore him to pieces. His actor has been perfect with still being flirty and weird but without the creep pervert mode that's on 95% of the time originally.

One step closer to Neuvillette...!

I haven't settled on a build yet. I've still been exploring and messing around. So far though I've been playing stealth for most things. And when all else fails, I blast people with my shotgun. I just unlocked the perk that allows me to throw a knife. The first time I tried, I killed someone with a headshot. I might have fun with that too, lol.

Both you and Drizzt mention throwing knives lol. I'll have to try that out then. Gonna try dabbling a bit.

Edgerunners was pretty good except for David. IDK why I just hated him. Loved everyone else.

I liked David but...eesh. Wonder if you hate him because everyone saw the obvious conclusion like a giant looming trainwreck and David ran full speed at it anyway. It was still hard to watch.

I started playing it about a week ago. I've had it since Christmas, but wanted to play other games first. I jumped on hit now though so I could have an idea of what it was like before the expansion overhaul hits. 17 hours in and so far the last thing I did was meet Judy with Evelyn lol.

What kind of build you running? I was a hacker.

I already loved it a lot at launch and the overhaul + expansion is going to be a blast. Rewatching Edgerunners in anticipation.

I feel like most celebrity marriages are jokes. Not saying they thought of it as a joke or anything and I'm sure they really care(d) about each other but any time I look up a celeb, 8/10 times they've been married and only for a few years before divorce. Often multiple times.

Lifestyle clash makes sense though. Dude's 34 now. Maybe he himself changed as he got older or her partying aspect was something he thought he was fine with and it turned out he wasn't.

Yep, one of the best games of all time.

I really enjoyed HIMYF :/ Second season was leagues better and everyone had hit their stride.

I feel confident about S2 even if it's later due to the strike, but with Netflix's cancel-happy nature I'd feel lucky to see Marineford adapted.

I feel he was rude for leaving like that. I understand if he loses interest after finding out their genitals don't align, but why leave immediately? imo ditching dates right then right there feels like something reserved for if your date is an asshole, rude, etc. He said they had a good time and after the trans thing he then treated her like she had some disease he didn't want to catch and needed the date the end. Feels a lot more sane and polite to just wrap up the date naturally, say your preferences don't match, and end on good terms.

I'm watching it for a second time, it won't get off my mind lol. I feel like rereading the manga as well but I'd like to read some other things first.

I'm on episode 7 and I feel conflicted about the fishmen. Yeah, Arlong is pretty messed up but as a black American, I kind of feel his anger at their treatment. He's kind of like Killmonger lol tactics are completely messed up/wrong but his anger is justified.

that's one thing I really liked about it. In the manga, racism against the fishmen isn't a real plot point until way later and the Arlong arc didn't address it that seriously, Arlong was only talked about later with it. The show introduced that history and that anger earlier and it really elevated the (already good) arc for me.

Nah. I played it for the first time a few months ago and loved it. I don't get the hate, it's better than 1.

Skypiea is way too important to skip. Plus Enel is awesome, and they already teased it in S1 via the Noland story anyway.

No way that's possible unless they randomly slap on an extra 30 episodes or something. I can see S2 ending with the Alabasta finale, S3 going through Skypiea to Enies, and S4 Thriller Bark to post-Marineford.

Baldur's Gate 1, so I'd be taking a trip to the Sword Coast. Not a bad location, but "beating" it, on the other hand... maybe if I recruited all the badasses and got them to do the work for me.

Not to mention the missing leg scene with the gory mess left behind. Eurgh. The LA is 100% way more brutal than the original source with the brutality and finally death, something Oda has sucked at.
