I'm not trying to shame and insult people for not agreeing with me and I didn't say that everybody who disagrees with me is an anti-work butthurt sensitive misanthrope. Everybody who has posted an opinion that differs from mine has not reacted the way that some have. Some of you, however, are clearly having massively overblown and weirdly drawn out reactions to this topic and me saying that acting like chipping in on a get well present for somebody who makes more is some horrible thing is odd.

I defend cops when I think theyre in the right and dont when I think theyre not. I also didnt agree with or defend Trumps family separation policies. Unlike other aspects of a supply chain scalpers insert themselves as middle men to provide no service whatsoever. The only thing that they do is make themselves money at the expense of the public.

I regularly order a few to several thousand dollars worth of stuff at a time, being able to get almost everything from one site and delivered as fast as Amazon does is incredibly helpful.

Plus Amazon basically bankrolls our rapid responses to disaster events.

Im arguing that calling swatting at somebodys phone attacking them is greatly exaggerating to make the encounter seem dangerous and thus worse than it actually was. Thats all. We know what happened and it was that a woman with mental issues had a screaming breakdown. The end.

Do you just not understand the point? If it was just the yelling, that'd be one thing. It's shitty to follow someone and yell, but it's not really attacking. But to chase them around the store after already trying to hit them is completely different as it's already proven this person will resort to physical violence. Did that make it simple enough for you?

There are people who think the races are better off separate but dont consciously want genocide but there are no people that want the races to be separate and are perfectly fair in hiring decisions or other similar actions. Of corse theyre taking discriminatory actions.

Most people are not in positions of authority that make hiring decisions and the like. People that do should be punished for those discriminatory actions but people are allowed to be discriminatory in their own every day lives. Like, do you think somebody should be legally punished for going out of their way to only shop at stores owned by a particular race whenever possible?
