thats true for some gachas if you force yourself to play everyday even when you dont want to like a slave to the game but i still kinda like genshin as a login when some new story gets added and then stop when thats done

before you yell at me i posted this cos it sounded dumb to me when a random twitter user said it to do a gotcha moment on gaming so im just curious how many people are like this and just play games to pass the time cos nothing better to do. personally i love games and love hunting for amazingly good niche games that get underlooked by the general public i also play popular games but i just like game hunting for the best games that fit my taste.

I don't think the characters are all that like people make them out to be, I don't hate them I like them just don't love them though haru is still my favorite in the game she's not near my top fav characters list maybe around the 40s I liked the gameplay loop for my original 5 playthrough but I couldn't play it again for royal I gave up at the second Palace I played strikers though and there were some comedic moments that warmed me up to them after playing the original 5

Genuinely if someone tells me they don't like Ultra Despair it's a hard pass; the person has such awful secondary style taste informed by the "community" there's no point in getting to know each other.

That game is worryingly dark like its experimental but I didn't like the execution of the story much and could do without some of the weird crap in it I can't explain it without spoiling tho so that's All I'll say

Pretty much stays the same, as all the combat is done in the same manner. Occasionally get bosses, or ones to so with other players, but only real difference is just a few extra things to do.

Same issue with their previous game, Destiny Child. A decent story, writing and lore for a phone game but the gameplay isn't the best.

It does get easy and you can largely auto most things at least?

dont like it when near everything can be autoed so ill probably leave it maybe watch the cutscenes maybe, already playing two gachas and star rail is coming to ps5 soon so maybe that too if i like it

When you get sidetracked, are your games in full screen? Or are you multitasking with windowed mode/multiple screens? Because that could be part of the problem too.

yeah its fullscreen mostly but then when i play a game i end up getting a thought on looking something up either related to the game like genshin builds or just a fun thing to read about or look at gamefaqs or twitter cos i might have missed something (this sounds like adhd now i think) exit fullscreen then i keep looking at other stuff until its time to sleep and i quit gaming hours ago

i might have that but ive not been diagnosed it fits though with my hyper fixations on like 5 series of anime games and some of my habits

everything about nikke is so appealing to me BUT the gameplay :/ i find it super uninteresting and engaging does it get better? plz say it does cos i was really enjoying the story and the writing the arts tops too but the gameplay turned me off so bad..ramzaes did a video on it and i super noticed the lack of mention on the gameplay and he just went on about the 2b and the english voice acting and the art

i have a gaming pc now after owning a laptop and i keep just watching yt and browsing here and occasionally reddit when i should be gaming on it like on ps5 all i do is game. yt on ps5 sucks and feels bad idk i dont like the interface ui and typing is slow and also i constantly make videos while on my gaming pc i rarely gamed on my laptop cos it was pretty mid with performance and showing its age i mainly used it for video editing (it was bad at rendering and making stuff but i still got things done),i get now why people are like wanting a seperate thing for gaming cos whenever i do games on my pc i keep moving to other things and not gaming. im starting up college and thats gonna be work for me to do so having ps5 be stuck to gaming only makes it easier for me to relax with and mainly not get distracted and using gamefaqs again or looking up random stuff
