Now that round was a perfect storm of several Rikku savers also missing it but she still was 1 save short, if Maniac had swapped his save order than Rikku survives there; almost certainly outlasts Vanille; and no doubt in my mind Rikku goes all the way and - I believe - has more general support than Vanille in a finals scenario. FFX had a rough year but I know it's got a wider fandom than XIII.

Cold Steel 1 is a massive slog (combat is never once actually interesting) and kicked off the horrible "gate important content behind multiple playthroughs" trend

but most importantly, Cold Steel largely abandons the world building that make the first five games great
