FighterZ has the best fighting gameplay

Xenoverse 2 has the best "dragon ball" feel, the game is a little easy but you really do feel like a super saiyan just freely flying all over the place and fucking shit up

It's performing well, but the show is expensive to make and with the timing of this strike, I wouldn't be surprise if Netflix cancels it as well.

Only one season of Stranger Things left, and The Witcher is dead after season 3 got destroyed and Henry Cavill leaving. Netflix should make One Piece their new flagship show, if they had a brain

I wonder what they will do with Coby in future seasons? Just insert him into Smokers crew and every other marine plot line? I cant imagine they just leave him out for full seasons after so much screen time. Hopefully the writers dont get too full of themselves and decide to invent some creative new plot lines to keep Garp/Coby in the show

Yeah season 2 has to cover Alabasta, I can see the show runners trimming a lot of fat off the Baroque Works arc and just speed right to the main part with Croc.

Also hopefully this season is a massive hit, and we get 10 or 12 episodes next season

The story was terribly bland, despite having a very rich backstory w/ the main villain and the history of the planet, but we get no explanation in the main game for pretty much anything.

The combat is also terrible, health potions are so easy to come by you should never die, and every fight you basically just hold square (or the combat button) for 95% of the encounter and watch your character beat something to death over 2 minutes. Extremely boring

I dont think Oda had thought of Haki yet when he wrote the Alabasta arc, but now that we are going back and the show is like a re-write, Crocodile definitely should have Haki back then? He is a warlord and we see him use Haki later

So how do we think they are gonna handle Haki in the show? That is one thing Oda definitely did not have planned out in the first half of the manga. Its a tough balance though, before Haki you have the devil fruits basically being the top power and Logia devil fruits being almost invincible. Then after Haki most devil fruits, especially logia, become very meh lol

Crocodile is the first person who should def be using Haki against Luffy right? Maybe the show has him use armament Haki to hurt Luffy despite his rubber body? Could be tough though to introduce Haki in season 2, but then Luffy doesnt learn how to use it till like season 7

Im glad they are dropping all these later reveals early and showing how so much about the world is interconnected. The One Piece world has sooo much history and layers to it, one of my biggest issues with the manga is we spend 100 chapters in one single island and then we get like 3 chapters of epic look at all that happened with the Yonko, the 7 warlords, the world government, etc before being stuck on another island for 2 years

The manga has fixed this problem in the later half, Im glad the live action show runners also know they can hook more of the audience by doing more world building early

4 episodes in, this show is amazing. You can tell everyone making the show just loves the manga/anime, I feel like they have done a really good job pacing out the arcs too. Doesnt feel slow at all when Luffy has a new villain to fight every 2 episodes. Even my wife who has never watched any anime anything is really liking it. I think we might have a big hit on our hands.

Yknow with the upcoming "Mandoverse Defenders" collab movie I'm really REALLY hoping that Filoni didn't at the last minute take all the actually interesting stuff out of Ahsoka to save for that.

With the low ratings on Mando season 3 and Ahsoka, I dont think this movie will be happening. Lucasfilm hasnt been able to get a Star Wars movie out of pre-production since 2018. The only way to get success would be to do an Heir to the Empire style movie around Han/Luke/Leia, have Mando and the Rebels characters as support.

But even then, 50% or more of the fan base probably wont return because it all leads to Kylo killing Jedi academy and the First Order wiping out the New Republic in 1 shot. Whats the point?
