iirc a few u.s. states required many major porn websites to have an age verification system , so those sites decided to block access to those states that required it completely

I don't work in the customer service part of retail, but I do occasionally get stopped by people (even though I don't wear a uniform or a nametag or anything identifying me as a staff member) and I see the actual customer service staff deal with people as I walk around the store and I'd say it's at least 30% to 40%. Maybe even 50/50.

there really aren't very many indian restaurants around my area. How about for you guys in your area? arabic food seems to be much bigger in the states than indian food, in terms of restaurants.

Reading is bad for your eyes, period. It doesnt matter if its in a moving vehicle or not. Looking at something close to your face for extended periods of time will eventually make you near sighted and need glasses. Looking away at something further away every few minutes can go a long way, though.

oh so you're sure that the percent of people who needed glasses was way lower before reading even became a thing? iirc a lot of scientists think there's no correlation

Adele was on the radio multiple times an hour when I was growing up, so I'd have to listen through the same three or four hit songs repeated ad nauseum. That really made me hate her music because I wasn't particularly fond of her to begin with.

By belting, I mean - for example - when she goes "we could have had it AAAAALLLLLL" in Rolling in the Deep. I've tried to express this unsuccessfully in the past, but Easy on Me is more... melodious? Like yeah she's tapping into her powerful vocals, but it's not just a wall of fucking sound.

And I know that's erroneous and flippant to say, but I think it comes from that negative bias I mentioned.

yeah she was much bigger yrs ago. she got much more airplay yrs ago. So you probably wouldn't have to worry about hearing her as much nonstop on the radio. yrs ago she was like the biggest singer in the world

I love that airport. I had a three hour layover there in the middle of the pandemic and I felt like I owned the place. Only found one bar that was open and I got nicely sloshed.
