I mean, that was a big point in that "How can she slap?" video. The girl knew there would be no accountability for her actions. So she slapped him again, just because she 'could' and probably felt good about it. Then he slaps back and all the neanderthals in the room rush him down.

There's also a comedy bit by Bill Burr about that, where he compares women to psycho robots because there's no accountability for their actions; no one to demonstrate to them when they're being assholes about stuff.

It all goes under "selective equality", i.e. "all the benefits and none of the burdens". Under true equality there would be equal accountability for actions.

I know in Grim Dawn I never bothered after a rare spawn near the bandit coliseum hit me with a full spread of Stun Jacks, probably dealing enough damage in a split second to kill me 5 times over.

Hardcore, or 'Dead is Dead' playthroughs are something I might self-impose, to allow for exceptions in cases like the game crashing, but wouldn't participate in within a game's framework.

The way I learned math in school, in Denmark so our maths might just be different, unique, special, and unimaginably superior, when you have a paranthesis with a number in front of it, you multiply the contents of the parenthesis with said number as the first priority of operations.

So 2(1+2) is solved as 1x2 + 2x2 = 6

So 6 divided by 6 = 1

The higher up in math you go the more likely you are to return an answer of 1 to that question. But those kinds of questions purposely use horrible syntax that mixes elementary school math in a way you wouldn't encounter from someone who WASN'T trying to troll.

Well most people under 30, at least amongst Gamefaqs users, view him as an out of touch old man complaining about things he doesn't understand. Most of his viewpoint can be summed up by the idea of those on the left dialing things back about 20% or so such that they can capture middle ground voters and wrest control away from Republicans. Even those that don't agree with his views generally acknowledge though that Democrats aren't very good at messaging.

You'll know when it is time because all the late night shows will come back on television. That and there will probably be a topic about Bill Maher yelling at clouds or something.

I mean, I'm sure Elon Musk would do that with Tesla if he found a way that made him believe he could get away with it.

The main problem with Forspoken is that the lead character fell into that racist trap of having black characters cuss a lot. Fuck was her favorite word-- along with shit-- and she probably used it as a noun, verb, adjective, adverb, and any other part of speech, more than once.

Ghost Hunters are at least polite in their fake investigations. Ghost Adventures on the other hand brings that frat-boy energy, and sprinkles in extra religious flim-flam about demonic possession.

Personally I was more of a fan of the unique angle taken by The Dead Files, where it's a 'psychic walk' that then gets paired with local history and a sketch of some bizarre monster creeping on people as they sleep.

Different story, but I saw a headline on CNN that read: Florida woman's car catches fire with her children inside while she was allegedly shoplifting in a mall. She apparently spent an hour in a store shoplifting with a male partner and dropped the items to run out when she noticed her car engulfed in flames. She was then arrested, though initially for other warrants dealing with charges of theft, assault, and battery. Edit: One of the children suffered first degree burns to her face, but bystanders intervened to save the kids.

So what's with Florida and leaving children unattended in cars?

That goes away with alchemy. You can create a Paralysis + Lingering Damage Health poison with plantable ingredients and that takes the danger out of most encounters. That'll leave the Undead as the scariest things to face; but half the time they have trouble sensing you.

Eventually they'll merge the AI Girlfriend tech with a Sex Robot and the planet will be doomed; at least humanity.

Yeah, he's skipping the proper process in favor of "lul fuck people with personal vehicles". It would require a restructuring of infrastructure for a robust public transit system. Even then, the US largely lacks a sense of public community, so said transit system would be vandalized in all sorts of ways and potentially unsafe to ride.

Should have planted C4 and quietly retreated to a safe distance before detonating... :P

Well, if you factor out 18 and 19 year olds, among younger groups it is probably the fact that they just don't socialize in person as much. Everything is tied to the phone and social media. Also, can't be making babies if you're spending 5 hours a day on Fortnite. :P

Given the direction the economy is headed for the majority of people, those historic lows are here to stay.

Well, visually it isn't going to impress. What it does offer is the most faithful rendition of the 5e tabletop rules you'll find in a game, plus support for modders to do their own campaigns. Some of the subclasses the devs came up with, since they only had an SRD license, are fun and could be played on tabletop. Some of the classes were added in via DLC: they were Kickstarter milestones IIRC.

Sadly I don't think it'll get the kind of support that Neverwinter had back in the day. WotC/Hasbro being hyper-greedy bastards that ruined the image of D&D doesn't help either.

This is such a basic textbook case that there would be national outrage if the family didn't win. It's obvious, and obviously documented, negligence that resulted in a death.

If you do go Wizard the Shock Arcanist is fun. The free upcasting for spells is nice in combat: extra magic missiles to ensure specific targets die, extra scorching rays to help break enemy spell concentration, etc. You can still pack the usual battlefield controls spells too.
