That's not what the posts says though. Sounds like Unity is doubling down on charging per install.

They've clarified they won't tax re-installs for the same device, but will still charge when a user installs it on multiple devices. It's also unclear how they're going to count re-installing on the same device after an OS change, or a (partial) hardware swap.

In the FAQ Unity says they'll "work with" developers who are targeted by fraudulent installs or piracy, but they're entirely opaque on how exactly they plan on detecting that. A "trust me, bro" just isn't going to cut it, especially knowing that accurately detecting that goes against Unity's financial interests.

So devs just have to trust Unity's word that they will reliably detect fraudulent installs? Even if Unity have a financial incentive to not do that?

A judge being impartial doesn't mean they need to have a neutral opinion on obvious criminal behavior.

Saying he "remains free to this day" is merely stating a matter of fact. There's no prejudice in that statement.

I find it hard to imagine I could stay friends with someone convicted of multiple rapes. I've dropped friends for a lot less than that. Kutcher's letter even outright states that Masterson would break off a friendship if someone did drugs. Is that where the line should be drawn?

Still though, it's possible to show support to an old friend without trying to reduce his sentence. Like they could have written him in private, wishing he gets treated well inside, hoping he becomes a better person and promising to help out his child. You can do all that genuinely and still believe he deserves the jail time.

Asking for leniency and making claims about him not being "an ongoing harm to society" is egregious and the criticism they got is justified.

That topic was obviously not intended to discuss the length of murder sentences, what a flimsy excuse. Its deletion was entirely deserved.

I mean, how would it have worked to give them all bigger roles? Some of them were dead (Adam West, Christopher Reeve, George Reeves, etc).

Just cut the scene entirely. The Clooney cameo scene at the end was pretty funny and clever. Making references in that way is fine. Either be creative with it or don't bother.

My biggest issue with the movie was how aggressively awkward Barry was. I already found him to be obnoxious in Justice League (both versions), but at least he had only a comic-relief supporting role in those. With him being the lead character the movie needed to tone him down a bit. Instead it quite literally doubled down on the Barries. The audience is supposed to root for the protagonists, not be annoyed by them.

The shoddy cgi don't even bother me all that much, except for that one scene with all the cameos. They couldn't bother giving these characters a place in the movie so they just rolled a clip reel saying: "hey, remember these guys? This is us acknowledging them. That's all." The crummy vfx there made it just that more tacky.

With a different lead actor (or a change in direction for him), the movie could have been pretty enjoyable.

Though Im still making fun of TC for actually saying even if she says its cool, he doesnt believe her. I dont agree with that mentality (even if it was more or less correct in this instance).
