Im very intentional about carving out a couple hours every week to watch a show with my brother, and I play ultimate frisbee pretty much every weekend. I also talk to my mom and friends throughout the week, and to the best of my ability I disconnect from work whenever Im off the clock. Thats all the preventative stuff. When stress starts accumulating nonetheless, I use CBT techniques like reframing, I look back to my collection of keepsakes and things that make me feel good about myself, and talk to friends and family. Im a bit overdue for a therapy session, but between all the stuff Ive listed, Ive been faring pretty well. --- "Bro Just Let Me Karate Chop You And You Can Have As Many Skateboards As You Want" |
