The whole "Give it a nickname?" thing was a cutesy little flavor thing I added to mimic the Pokmon games. Didn't really expect people to actually give it a nickname, and I really didn't expect to be asked what the character limit was. So I stuck with that gag as more people received fish.

If the Goldeen actually did manage to summon Arceus, I would've totally wedged in every single Goldeen's nickname just to play the absurdity up to eleven lmao

I'm pretty sure the whole reason I asked if there was a character limit on the nickname was because I had no idea how else to respond lol. It was part trying to fish for information, part kind of nervous it would kill me somehow.

Knowing how the game went, I wish I had robbed your corpse too Peaf. I don't remember where my head was at Night 2, but I may have given the gun to Chris trusting the Goldeen wasn't from a malicious source.

Also thanks again for Chris the Goldeen, Chris.

I had the full confidence of truth on my side! So did you though, I just didn't believe it lol.

What doomed you for me Ulti was coming out so confident that I was scum on Day 4. By the time you came around on me and were willing to look at other possibilities for that scan, I had already mentally clocked you as Scum. It's really funny that we both ended up being Town there.

I'm actually glad it ended without dragging out the full day, I was really mentally burned out after Ulti flipped Town. At least playing so poorly allowed me to make it to Day 5, that's double my previous experience altogether!

I think Dumey is right on with this logic. Assuming 3 Scum left, it wouldn't be an auto-win and we'd just lynch whoever used it. Unless we get some real momentum on whoever would have it, they would have no reason to use it today IMO.

Also with Chris and Ulti dying, I am the only one left alive from the Marth lynch, which means Joyrock was the only Scum on him which blows my mind.

I can't believe Ulti was Town after he came after me so hard with so much confidence right out of the gate yesterday. Obviously I can't prove it at this point, but I am legitimately Town Backup, I've been nothing but honest about my actions.

Looking at Ulti flipping Town though, it does mean Night 2 they used Roleblock and either no other item with the Ninja submitting the Kill, or the Ninja using another item and the 3rd Scum member sent the kill. And then Night 3 no High priority item was used, but they did the resurrect (and if it works like mine, they could use that Town power the same night).

Reads wise I'm completely lost, I honestly thought the game would be over. I'm also feeling rather defeated, but I'll hang around and try to the bitter end. I need to completely reevaluate my perspective.

West coast or not the US then? You posted six minutes after the first in my time zone. I don't intend to be that particular though, so it's fine.

East Coast U.S. so technically it was after midnight :p

I've had it a few times where I'm rushing to beat a game by the end of the month, as long as I beat it before I go to bed I count it in my book lol. A bullet hell type game is a terrible game to play while tired.

Without a better argument then trust me, why would I lynch anyone besides you? If we're both Town, I'd expect a more in depth look at what you got last night so we can work together and figure out who is Scum. You have all the info last night, I didn't do anything.

Also if you were Town and had me dead to rights with a beetle scan, why waver?

If you're Town, pretend I'm Town Backup and everything I've said is true, and try and explain that along with your information from last night.

Really Ulti, I give you all day to consider it and now you do, right before my wall of thoughts.

After looking over Day 4 again I do believe scum still believes they can get me mislynched today in what would likely end the game. Enough people are ignoring or justifying Ulti's contradictions, probably because at this point they still believe they can sway enough people off of Ulti and onto me. And at this point I don't see how him or myself aren't the lynch today.

Chang/Crescent/SBell/MZero have all been extremely consistent in thinking Ulti is lying. It's not impossible that one of them could be scum and hiding here in a worst case scenario long plan, but these 4 are my most confident Town reads right now.

Dumey was strong on me early, but backed off. However he left enough plausible deniability in his posts to later swing back off his Ulti read and onto me IMO.

Chris has been back and forth, which I could see as genuine reading of the game trying to solve it. He's swung a bit too much in allowing room for himself to believe Ulti for me to put him out of the middle at this point though. I really don't want the Goldeen vendor to be scum.

Corrik and Sheep straight up believe Ulti is Town or have been justifying his contradictory claims at this point. I would look here next.

And I'm 100% convinced Ulti is Scum now. In addition to his contradictory beetle madness that has been pointed out already, he claims I'm 100% Scum, but I am Town Backup so he is lying.

Why do you feel best about chang over the other two joyrock voters?

Coming into today I felt like I agreed with him more than the other two. I had him and Crescent close mentally, but gave him a slight edge.

Today I think he's posted against Ulti very strongly which I agree with. It has felt genuine. However SBell and especially Crescent have also had similar content, which elevates all three of them for me.

Chris do you believe there is any scenario where Town Ulti is either A. still lying about his role for some reason or B. somehow misread his Night 3 beetle information, and there is a 2nd role Scum has similar to Backup?

Also again on the one in a million chance Ulti is still lying about his role but Town as Corrik believes, I've been trying to open a dialogue, but Ulti has not backed down on his claim today.

This is the most confident I've felt yet in a game of mafia, because I've never been more confident on a read. Ulti is 100% sure I a scum, but I am Town so he is wrong. Given this could be the last day if we lynch Town, his confidence has to be a strategy to get me mislynched for a Scum victory.

My confidence wavers significantly when it comes to naming anyone else at the moment, but I'm still reading and formulating my thoughts.
