That's quite a hyperbolic take. Lyft is a service platform that employs thousands of drivers. The company won't have the throughput to investigate and solve every issue between the interactions of drivers and their passengers, especially if one driver is negligent and/or vindictive enough to toss a cat out at the outskirts of a town. There's no way for the company to guarantee the safety of a lost cat.

Yes and it gave a false impression of the rest of the game. I thought you'd be able to get all kinds of key items before you were "supposed" to and quest givers would react accordingly when you pull out whatever they were about to ramble about. Too bad that was literally the only time that happened.

Absolutely! And for the slower moments they could've touched on some of them somehow leaving the UNSC and starting families or the fact that all the Spartan IIs were genetic freaks, outcasts towering over everyone. This is potentially great drama right there!

That was probably because of Halo fans who read the novels. The novels introduced interesting characters and events through out the timeline, only for the game series to completely ignore or even flat out re-write the canon of events.

That's a major frustration for fans to the novels.

Yeah, all of this. Halo as a story could legit be pretty damn cool but it almost seems like they actively try not to make it so. Cortana going rampant? The concept of rampancy was first introduced in the books, rampancy didn't involve becoming a typical AI tyrant. Blue Team? Also books, have very established characters. Like I said in a previous post, essentially boiled down to mere cameos with no effect on Master Chief even though they could have absolutely been used to finally humanize him as John and not just the Chief.

Nope. My only problem is I over think everything and am thus incapable of recognizing in the moment when I might be being flirted with. I can tease them, they can tease me, that was basically my entire relationship with a former coworker, but my brain just refused to accept that "she might actually be kinda into you".

Halo is a cool universe but it is in an awkward spot with Master Chief as the focus. If anything the stores are more interesting when he's in the background and the other characters are dealing with that like the Hunt the Truth podcast.

I'm still beyond pissed that that amounted to LESS than nothing. With Blue Team finally being introduced to the games they had a prime opportunity for some actual characterizing and they didn't do a damn thing with it. His oldest friends, and they were more easter eggs than characters.

I vaguely remembered a pokemon stream where they allowed the chat to control the game and they actually got pretty far, even though many of their best pokemons kept getting released.

I was not expecting the story to be actually good instead of just cool. Damn near everybody had actual reasons and motivations for doing things this time around. Fucking Li Mei of all characters had a little arc!

They've always been damn good at cinematics, which is still true, but literally everything else was a massive step up. Voice acting (minus Megan Fox, dunno what happened there), environment, facial expressions, they had bills to pay.

There's no way that happens with that power unless you were reckless with it. High and low chaos do not only consider body count. If you were sneaky with it, you should still be on low chaos

The vast majority of Final Fantasy has never had significant dialogue choices. Why is this a knock on 16 specifically when the franchise has never really done that?
