In French, "pantalon" is singular. It's only plural if we're talking about more than one. Some people erroneously use the phrase "une paire de pantalons" (a pair of pants), which is an anglicism. What's grammatically correct in one language isn't necessarily the case in another. The influence of English in media is responsible for a lot of grammatical errors in many other languages.

  • I already got four shots.
  • I avoid crowded places.
  • I wear a mask when I can't avoid crowds.
  • I rarely leave the house.
  • Statistics show diminishing returns with each subsequent shots.
  • I no longer live with someone who is at a high risk.
  • Starting with my second shot, I get sick the day following the shot.
I don't think it's worth it right now, but that could change in the future. If you're wondering about my last point, I just feel weak for a whole day. It's caused by the immune system properly reacting to the vaccine. It means the vaccine is working.

Some one dropped a quote which appeared to come from the website which said adults not men.
I'm pretty sure it would have been illegal to only ban men. You can't discriminate people based on gender, but you can ban single adults regardless of gender from attending family events. Discrimination is legal unless it's based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or disability. This rule obviously doesn't apply in private, for example I can definitely discriminate against men and religious people when looking for a significant other, because I'm heterosexual and atheist.

I just said that if you find enjoyment being around a bunch of random kids you have no connection to that you probably need to think about why that is.
I enjoy entertaining kids with magic tricks and practical jokes. They're easy to impress, so they make great audiences. Kids are fun because they're curious and full of energy. One of my favorite jobs is children animator. I love designing recreational games for children and playing with them. I've always worked well with children, and children tend to like me a lot. To them, I'm a mentor, a father figure, a protector, an entertainer, and a counselor. I would never abuse a child, that's just disgusting. The way that you're inferring that I'm a pedophile because I enjoy being around children is infuriating.

silvergokuZ posted...
Reminds me of about 12 years ago I being autistic wanted to read some graphic novels and a member of staff rushed to stop me entering the kids area (where they kept them) and basically interrogated me about why I wanted to go to kids area, what books did I want, how long would I be there for.

They didn't do this with any lone females walking in and out.
It's a common double standard that sadly makes it incredibly easy for female pedophiles to prey on children without getting caught. There are actually just as many female pedophiles as male ones. The only reason why most convicted pedophiles are male is because of that double standard. People are wrongly taught that all pedophiles are male, so it makes it easy for female pedophiles to stay undetected. And since most people wrongly believe that female pedophiles don't exist, their victims are significantly less likely to report them due to shame and/or fear that no one will believe them. And they're right: victims who report being raped by a woman are very often not taken seriously.

Maman
Man
Mom

The link shows you how I pronounce them. The first two are French and have to be pronounced as such, but the third one is borrowed from English. "An" is a vowel sound not present in the English language. English is quite limited when it comes to phonetics. Most English word pronunciations can be replicated in French, but not the other way around. For example, the English pronunciation of "man" is the same as pronouncing "mane" in French. "Mane" isn't a word by itself in the French language, but is nonetheless found at the end of many words like "kleptomane" and "pyromane". Notice that the "e" at the end is omitted in English. The former is pronounced the same as in English, but the latter pronounces the first syllable as "pee" instead of "pie".

Accrovideogames

Most babysitters I had were female, but some were male. I don't recall ever disliking a male babysitter, but I certainly hated several female babysitters. I wouldn't say they were abusive, just obnoxious or scary. Considering the sheer number of female babysitters I had compared to male ones, it statistically makes sense that the worst ones were female. The opposite is also true: my favorite babysitters were female. It also helps that as a heterosexual boy, I found several of my female babysitters attractive. Being attractive awards you bonus points, which isn't something male babysitters could get. Even then, my favorite babysitter wasn't attractive. She won solely because she was kind and sweet.

There's a professional male babysitter living on my street. He's been babysitting babies, toddlers and elementary school kids full-time for over 40 years now. He's very well liked in my neighborhood. He's often seen walking with a baby in a stroller and toddlers in tow. Among the babysitters congregating at the park overseeing the kids playing, he's the only male one. He's very kind and passionate about his job. I was never babysat by him, however.

I've rarely babysat kids myself. It's not something I've done for strangers, but friends and acquaintances. My younger sister did it significantly more often than me. Although I've only done it on a few occasions, I always took the job seriously. My approach is to entertain the kid and do activities with him/her.

The Republicans and Democrats during that era are no longer the ones we know today. Conservative means not progressing and improving, preferring instead to hold onto outdated and flawed traditions. The pro-slavery people were conservatives. The Democrats in that era were the conservatives.

As for who owns the most guns, that's not how it works. The type of people who would fight to destroy the constitution, deludedly believing that they are defending it, aren't the types to be well-organized and tactically smart. They're chaotic evil. Most conservatives are also from older generations, so they're way past their prime. It doesn't matter if you own a dozen guns, you can't use more than one at the same time.

You also have to consider the interests of other countries. The progressive side would get a lot of support internationally, similarly to what is happening in Ukraine. Also don't forget that the reason why there are so few progressives in the military is because they don't buy into the patriotic propaganda. If there was a war to save their country, you can bet a shit ton of progressives would undergo training and join the ranks of soldiers fighting for a better future.

Sony would have been so pissed. "What do you mean I can't bribe them to not release games on my competitor's console anymore?" That's one of the reasons why Microsoft decided to buy Bethesda in the first place, to stop Sony from bribing them to never release Starfield on Xbox. I'm sure stopping Sony from anti-competitively preventing Final Fantasy from ever releasing on Xbox was high on their list of reasons for acquiring Square Enix. Which is a shame, because Microsoft is against NFTs. Square Enix wouldn't be destroying our environment and scamming people anymore if they were owned by Microsoft.

I first started playing video games back in 1993 when I was 3 years old. My grandparents had an Intellivision and an NES at their house that my uncles played with when they were younger. They had dozens of games for the Intellivision and half a dozen games for the NES. My favorites were BurgerTime, Snafu, and Beauty & the Beast for the Intellivision, and Gyromite, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. for the NES.

I became a lot more into video games in 1994 when my babysitter had a Genesis and an SNES at her house. I asked my mother I wanted video games for Christmas and she bought me a Genesis along with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Ms. Pac-Man, Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Quest, and Crystal's Pony Tale. My absolute favorite was Sonic. The next Christmas I got an SNES, followed by an N64 the following year as soon as it released. I kept getting more and more games and consoles over the years.

I've been wearing the same pair of boots for well over a decade now, and they cost my grandfather $100 CAD (It was a gift). He had the same kind of mentality as me, at least when it came to clothing. This mentality was handed down to his son, my father, who in turn handed it down to me. My grandfather saw me wearing a cheap pair of boots (bought by my mother when I was a young teenager) that weren't waterproof anymore due to wear. He was a shoemaker when he was young, so those old boots were an insult to him.

I've never been in debt and I'm not a big spender. I buy things that will last me a long time. I still wear clothes I wore as a preteen. Because I was thinking in the long term even then, I made sure to pick larger sizes that I would grow into. There's also the fact that I was obese, and losing so much weight later in life expanded my wardrobe. Some of my old clothes also grew in size overtime. I only ever stop wearing an item when it's damaged beyond repair. I don't like being seen in public wearing t-shirts full of holes, so I only wear those at home. People tend to tell me that I dress well. I'm into cardigans, chesterfield coats, fedora hats, pinstripe shirts, etc.

I barely make anything due to health issues preventing me from doing steady 9 to 5 jobs, but my financial decisions allowed me to secure a good safety net. I currently make a little over $18K CAD a year and I have well over $50K in my bank account. I know people who make five times that much and who still live paycheck to paycheck. Life currently costs me $1K per month, although it used to be $750 last year. I can thank the 1% for that. I use some of the leftovers to buy games and other "uneccessary" stuff, then invest the rest.

If I was born rich, I would have certainly grown up becoming one of those asshole billionaires. I already have an asshole father who fucked me up. It took me forever to work on my behavior. I don't think I would have put the effort to not become an entitled prick if I was born rich and encouraged by the system to be even more terrible. Just imagine what would have happened to Donald Trump if he wasn't born in the 1%. He'd still be a dumbass, but no one would be giving a shit about a high school dropout who flips burgers. He'd be much less of a narcissistic asshole though.

The thing is, those decisions simply don't affect them like they do us. I was talking with my girlfriend about the whole sub thing, and she mentioned how ridiculous it was to spend $500,000 on a father's day present (two tickets). For somebody with 1 billion dollars to their name, that's 0.05% of their money (1/2000). To scale that down, for somebody with $100k (which already puts them quite a bit ahead of most of America), that would be $50, which that person would never think twice about spending for a special occasion. It's a testament to the baffling scale of a billion dollars to realize that, but that's the reality of the situation (and most billionaires have more than just 1 billion).
I bought my father a $1,000 CAD gift once, which was worth 0.25% of the cash I had to my name at the time, not counting assets (mostly furniture, electronics, and games) I could sell. The fact that I'm more generous toward my asshole father than a billionaire is to their own speaks volumes to how ridiculously cheap those asshole billionaires are. If you're wondering about the gift itself, it was a 55" LED 1080p HDTV. I was tired of seeing him use a 19" CRT 480i SDTV.

People always confuse networth as being a vault of money that they dive into like Scrooge McDuck.
In the case of those idiots, the vault they dove into literally imploded.

The system was made by the 1% to serve the 1%. It's made so the 1% gets richer and the 99% gets poorer. When someone from the 1% joins the 99% or vice versa, it's a statistical anomaly.
