"Don't be a bitch" is also not the same as saying "you're a bitch." Men say the same to other men. It isn't sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is grabbing someone's ass, using a position of power in an attempt to get sexual favors, etc.

Like I don't know how some people survived school or any social interaction if "cool your tits" is suddenly sexual harassment.

"Toxic" is a conclusion however. People being human doesn't make them "toxic." Toxic has to be the most overused word in modern language, up there with gaslighting. And they're overused again because too many people have main character syndrome and can't handle when they're criticized.

I have a ton of empathy. Empathy doesn't mean you have to feel cheer someone for not being able to handle the adult world and then trying to weaponize their disappointment against others by blaming them for self-harm and accusing them of "sexual harassment" (which, unless I missed something, consisted of someone using the word "bitch" and saying "cool your tits," which is not even a female-specific saying). I feel bad that the person seemingly lacked the social skills and managerial skills to handle the job, but also lacked the maturity to just find another job because she had the expectation that this job was a "dream come true."

I actually find his content annoying. I just think someone complaining that a work environment forced them to self-harm, etc., because of fairly minor personality clashes is over the top. The internet has given everyone main character syndrome, which means they have incredibly thin skin and cannot handle the slightest difficulties. The allegations paint the person as finding their "dream job" - very much a main character concept - and not being able to handle the psychological impact of it not being a dream come true but in fact a high stress slog.

While 9 years isn't a whole lot of time, a lot has happened in America since then. Besides, that's still a lot of Christians and that's only counting the ones they polled. I said "a lot if not most". I'm not being super literal anyway.

You said 80%. You absolutely presume that a vast majority of Christians are conservative when, in fact, they aren't. The political breakdown of Christians tends to reflect that of the wider American population. Most Christians don't base their politics on their religion; they base their religious views on their politics.

I wasn't just talking about just evangelicals. While the 80% number is a bit of hyperbole, a lot if not most Christians are that way especially since they support the Republican party. Not saying there aren't good Christian people out there, but they seem to be the minority.

Other than Mormons and Evangelical Christians, every religious denomination in the US is more Democrat/Independent than they are Republican. The idea that all Christians or a majority of Christians is another myth pushed by Evangelicals to tie Republican politics to Christianity.

I'm sure there are regional biases, though I expect in Florida you have huge Catholic and other presences that just aren't as vocal.

Other than sexual harassment, if actually sexual harassment, these are pretty weak allegations. "Overworked," "micromanaged," "insulted," and "belittled" are are nebulous allegations that are entirely subjective absent concrete examples. People don't cause others to self-harm. They do that themselves. If you're working for a YouTube channel, moreover, you're likely in a position to leave the environment if you don't like it.

I'd be curious how LTT "fanboys" (so not LTT) caused a child and the child's mother to commit suicide.

Hell, Lars was right about Napster and the devaluation of music. Modern rock is pretty much dead because you can't make money off it, and Lars called that. The most successful rock band in the last decade is probably Ghost, and their net worth is a whopping $3m. Before digital destroyed the value of music, Tobias Forge would have been sitting on $10m+ just from Mary on a Cross

Lars is the only reason the band didn't fade into drunken obscurity in the 80s. His contribution is as a songwriter and as the driving force behind keeping Metallica together. As a drummer he's fine.

Monster Hunter World for 1,300hrs, Nioh 2 for 970hrs, Elden Ring 600hrs and counting, Monster Hunter Rise for 450+ hours and counting, and other past games too. Dragon Quest Monsters Joker for 700+ hours, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for 2,000+ hours. You get the gist. God knows how much time I put into Final Fantasy XIV and the LittleBigPlanet trio games.

I'm going to ask you to please take a look at these numbers and realize that the average person WORKS less than 2000 hours per year. You game like it's a job. People with normal schedules that want to play 2-5 hours a week shouldn't have to lose out on complete gaming experiences because a few obsessive people demand games be their whole life

Average age of the users here meant many of us spent > $70 adjusted for inflation for games that took only a few hours to beat.

Quantity =\= quality. These 40, 50, 60 hour games hit those lengths because of padding. Nothing warranted FF7R being as long as it was. Nothing introduced in Assassin's Creed Valhalla warranted taking 2x as long to beat the main story as Black Flag or 3x as long as AC2. Length is a detriment and unfortunately a vocal minority of people that do nothing but game and don't care about diversity of experiences demand it

Most games aren't worth the time they demand. Like Elden Ring or even the new style Zeldas

This would be an exceptional finding for most white presenting people. 14% is equivalent to a having a Sub-Saharan African great-grandparent. I say this because it shouldn't be seen as a silver bullet to white supremacists. Most would not have DNA results like this. (Assuming the DNA test accurately captured "Sub-Saharan DNA"; as an example, E Y-haplogroups are associated with Africa but also exist in Europe and have for many tens of thousands of years, and would not be fairly categorized as African in any meaningful way).

I'm confident Walsh is a racist. He's race baiting. The only thing interesting about these figures is their connection to the transformation of US culture due to migration from Latin America, and the way the US has turned Latin Americans into a servant class in many respects.

If people want to date others outside of their ethnicity and have babies, let them be. If you want to just date inside yours, that's fine too. That's a personal thing. I do understand some people want to preserve culture and language (pretty common with immigrants and native Americans).

It's incredibly comical to politicize it and make it seem like it's a bad thing. Interracial dating is uncommon as it is, but there's only so much you can do to preserve your culture. Instill your culture to your kids. But don't raise them to be a racist asshole.

That isn't why white demographics are declining. Whites are declining because white people have fewer children, which is a result of white men and women being more likely to work jobs they won't give up to have more kids

There's no "white" DNA marker, but there a lot of genetic backgrounds associated with being "white." That said, I'd you mean aren't all white people mixed with DNA associated with Africa or East Asia, the answer is no.

Look up Jeb Bush's grandkids. They're quarter Mexican and they look totally "white." Hispanic will be the new Italian

I've seen them in the 70s. Most in the 80s. Made the BMW purchase more palatable. I couldn't beat a Vette in a drag race but the Vette doesn't handle turns as well as the Blackwing, so I think I'd be competitive against one in that respect. That may also be where the Vette struggles against the Lambo or Ferrari

It's better than the nonsense that is the theatrical cut, but it still has a lot of problems. Most notably an absurdly underqualified Gary Stu protagonist and the entirety of the film views the crusades and holy land through 20th century morality so everyone talks like they are people from America in 2002 or whenever film came out, which of course makes the crusaders blatantly evil. Some real super villain lair scenes in the film.

The Europeans are less purely evil in the DC but, yes, it isn't remotely accurate to the crusades

I like the C8 exterior a lot as well as its performance but I like the C7 a lot and prefer its interior styling.

I strongly considered a C8 but opted for a more practical BMW M550i recently. Needed a 4 door with back seats and a proper trunk. It was a choice between the M550i, Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, or the outdated Dodge Charger. BMW came out best of the pack.

The high end Corvette has a lower top speed but for anything you'd ever use it for, whether on the track or dragstrip, it is absolutely competitive. I love the exterior. I hate the interior. I don't like the "cockpit" inspired style. In many ways I prefer the prior generation Vette, which has an interior more like the current Lambo

Napoleon will be awful because a lot of what we know about Napoleon's personality has only recently come to light. Napoleon III heavily redacted his letters and journals in order to mythologize the man. But the mythologized Napoleon doesn't fit certain decisions he made, like enthroning his family. Recent scholarship and biographies show Napoleon to have been an awkward incel type that really only engaged in the military out of obligation to his mother and siblings, whom his father left impoverished.

I don't think Barrymore necessarily expected to die so much as he was aware of his physical disabilities. He had severe arthritis and morphine addiction by 1931. That said, he could also have been nice.

There's less filler in DB than in DBZ. A lot of DBZ is cut in the Kai remaster.
