I'm serious: buy yourself a stopwatch...like a gym teacher stopwatch. When you get a drink, hit start. Before you drink, you check your timer. If it's under 30 minutes---you have to wait to drink.

The human body metabolizes about 1 drink an hour, so you are getting drunk with this method regardless of alcohol tolerance or body size.

Blackout drinking is more like 4-drinks an hour for 3-4 hours. This is like calorie counting--youll have to count the time. Is it less fun than not worrying about it? Sure, but you wouldn't need to do it if you didn't have to do it.

The underlying reasons for drinking--society, civilization, etc.--aren't going to change. do what we do best and adapt.

Sorry, but I have to chime in here and say this is bad advice. You could limit yourself to only 1 drink per hour and you will still get progressively more intoxicated. There are a number of factors at play and you should account for about 2 hours to process a drink (12 oz of beer at ~5% alcohol, 5 oz of wine at 12%,) but even that isn't a perfect science.

Having a drink once every 30 minutes and you will get smashed in a few hours or over the course of a night regardless.

Ridley Scott's penchant these days is cranking out the film with efficiency and not dragging over budget or anything. A businessman's director with as much as focus on profit or more so, than any artistic aspect.

I wanted to learn sideflips at the time but always ended up as a front. I know current people are doing sideflips at a modified angle that makes it easier to spot the landing. They do it so they can sideflip onto rails and thin walls. That stuff is crazy to me lol.

Like I said, you don't go to bed one night with the mental maturity of a child and wake up the next morning as an adult. Should we consider 17 a child and 18 thru 23 to be transitional? If you're attracted to a 20-year-old, you're attracted to someone who is a half-step up from being a child?

If you're worried about semantics, I would argue "youth" is a good term for a teen. It's a reminder that they have a long way to go, and that they're not to be sexualized or pursued romantically by adult-adults, but it still doesn't infantilize them by placing them in the same category as a 7-year-old.

If we want to get technical, ages 10-19 is roughly the development period labeled as adolescence.

There is a wealth of scientific research and evidence supporting that trans people have existed throughout human history and is a normal variation found in all populations like sexual orientation. It is not a cultural phenomena or a modern concept to be trans, and claiming such is harmful anti-intellectual discourse and a form of bigotry.

If you want to engage in civil discourse, it would behoove you to refrain from promoting baseless beliefs founded in bigotry.
