Nothing's stopping you from starting one.

But while tastes are always subjective, I share Blue_Thunder's thoughts. Women's feet just tend to look more aesthetically-pleasing, and there's usually more attention paid to making their feet look good or at least presentable. Women wearing sandals is also seen as less of a faux pas than it is with men, especially in professional environments.

There's a lot of bad foot fetish anime art. I can't stand the ones with big fat soles with tiny ass toes and more wrinkles than a f****** grandma. Or people that draw toes like they are fingers.

Yeah, feet are very hard to draw well, so a lot of times, they end up not looking all that well.
