I've worked at 2 locations that were in low-crime rate suburbs. We didn't have any glass at these locations and I've been there 2 years and have had no issues.

However in our market, I know of a bomb threat (fake bomb) that happened at one branch and a story of few years ago a guy pulling a knife to a girls neck for money. Which I don't understand because spoilers if you rob the bank we're all just gonna comply because who gives a fuck its not our money.

Oh and heard story of a robbery in boston where they were all held up at gun point and all the tellers got like a $1000 bonus or some shit lol

No idea, we asked one of their workers recently after we had to do $5000 in quarters and he didn't know the reason either just what he was told.

Personally I think they just eventually just cut it and dump it all into a machine and they don't want to spend the tedium of unrolling it so they push the task onto us.

Just take them to the bank. A lot of banks will either take them or even have a little coinstar like machine that's way cheaper or even free.

I work at bank and we only accept rolled coins, usually only banks in big cities will have the machines.

Dumb thing is - we only accept rolled coins, but when we ship out the coins we have to unroll them and dump them all into a big bag because Brinks wont accept anything rolled.

Nah its more nuanced then that, faith isnt the only thing that gets you there. So that christian wouldnt go to heaven, but the athiest who rescues kids is indeed hellbound. No faith = autohell.

From what I've been told from a shawty from Turkey, muslims believe you're going to hell if you dont believe in god. She said its completely fine to be christan/jew/etc but you cant be athiest or you will go to hell. If you were to tell her you're athiest she'd likely try to convert you to a religion just to make sure you dont go to hell.

no problem happy to help and btw what the process typically looks like is they give you a temporary credit, usually immediately but sometimes can take a few days, and they just do a little investigation behind the scenes and your temporary credit becomes a permanent credit at the end.

Yeah that sounds like it was the debit card. When you have fraud or you lose the card you'll get a new card with a new number on it. If you have anything like a subscription set up automatically through your debit card you'll have to reset those (but if set up w/ account number those wont be interrupted).

And as someone that works at the bank you dont actually have to go to the bank, you can just call the number on the back of your card to file a claim and they can take care of it from there. If you actually go to the bank (at least mine) all we're doing for you is making the same exact call for you with you there with us.

I work at a bank; just because your debit card is compromised does not mean that your account is compromised. Bank can tell if your fraud was done by debit card or through ACH of your actual account.

If its debit card, you just need a new card and to file a claim.

If its account number, you fucked up son and you need to create new accounts and reset any automatic payments.

I know you got the $79/yr card because you thought it was the only option available to you but thats not the best card to get even when your credit is tanked. Since you already have the card and are content with paying the $79 for 1 year, I would use the card but you CANT use anything about $90 on the card. So use the card every month *KEEP IT BELOW $90* and your credit will start to increase fast. If you want to increase even faster keep it below $30 every month, but I know thats such a tiny amount it feels like whats the point in even using the card.

Always pay on time and pay off the whole statement to avoid getting in a hole.

I work at bank and talk to people about this daily - close your $79/yr card asap, get a secured credit card and put $500 down on it. Never use above $150 on your statement.

This will boost your credit really fast in 6 months, then apply for a real credit card w/ no annual fee.

Maybe - I can't really predict, they have a team that investigates it and makes a decision.

Local branch can't help at all, they basically can only help if they had issues authenticating you over the phone and needed to have someone prove your identity in-person. But that isn't your issue, essentially it completely comes down to the wire department making the decision after reviewing the information.

It's annoying I know.

I work in a big US bank and if you try to send money to any of the prohibited countries (North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Donetsk, Luhansk) we stop it, if its found out that there is some connection with the business/individual it gets held for AML reasoning.

And in regard to getting something in writing - there is a bunch of protections built-in for the bank to not be held liable for a lawsuit so they prevent alot of things in writing. I had a woman close a business credit card and demand that we give her something in writing and signed by a manager for her lawyer and we, and customer service, could not provide her anything that said her card was closed - even tho we literally just closed it for her.
