CoD fans aren't generally mad at the game. Yea there's criticisms but not like other games.

I played a lot of fifa and vast majority agree that the game is built like trash and fuck EA, but were too hooked

Yeah but then you actually have to go into Walmart.

I have Walmart+ for free through my amex card. It's free shipping, don't have to ever go in.

Noticed this the other day when I made some runs to Walmart and Target to grab some random stuff. I looked up the same items on Amazon just to see what the difference was and Amazon prices were consistently higher, at best equal, to the in-store items.

I have Walmart+ as well, gonna start using this alot more tbh.

Gonna use amazon only for unique items that I can't find at stores.

And then they leave the house to you, so in 20 or 30 years you'll have two houses side by side.

You devil.

Yea but it wouldn't do me any good other than to rent it out and who would want to rent a house where the landlord lives next door.

These would be 2 houses side by side at the end of a court so its not ideal to demolish and make a new single larger house. And plus the house I live in is actually really nice and absolutely should not be demolished. It was custom built in 1980 but it honestly looks like a new build its been cared for well and the french chateau style holds up over time.

Saw that my new neighbor was this old man in his 80s. Theres no way he lasts 10 years. When he does pass I would probably push my parents to buy the house next door. We could also take down our fence and have a huge combined backyard. In that timeframe my parents would be in their 70s but still.

Epoxy is only a couple hundred for 5 gallons, how big is your garage

I'm contemplating doing it myself. Its just under 1200 sq feet.

I looked into the process, theres alot of steps to it, renting different equipment, and several steps to actually doing it, it looks like a multiple day, 20-30+ hour job. And also I'm literally never gonna do this again and we intend to live there forever. So part of my thinking is, just get it done once by professionals and never deal with it again. Its a 40 year old house. The garage floor looks like complete shit right now.

That seems like a lot for an auto pool cover but thats just me.

We debated this for a month what we should do. We were gonna do a fence, but we ran it by so many people and everyone agreed a fence would completely kill the aesthetics of the backyard. It just absolutely doesn't go. Even a fence would be like $4-5k. A manually retractable cover is very tedious to take off and put on. So when my wife is home alone with the kids and I'm at work, its hard for her to take it on and off every time they wanna go for a swim.

A manual is easy, safe, aesthetic, and we intend to live here for decades.

Im just so happy to be beyond that step, I can simply worry about retirement, kids college funds, our leisure funds, and just enjoy our lives. And honestly all of that budgeting is going to be autopilot after a few months once budget stabilizes after all our upfront house costs like new furniture and modifications and whatever, and I start making automatic deposits into my brokerage and college savings for kids etc.

We get the keys tonight.

Even getting married isn't that big of a deal since you've been dating for years and have years to go through pros and cons and decide if it's right for you.

Having kids is something people think about their whole lives.

Work is something people think about for many years before they get into it.

When buying a house you have a few weeks tops to make a decision. If you pass you might not get a house like that any time soon. If you get it you wonder if you should've waited. You also question what it's worth you compared to what it's worth to the market. In some cases you have under a week to make these decisions.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

This is the case for alot of organic food items. It's a very good point.

The thing is TCs point only stands because of circular logic....an item is better because it's more expensive. But because it's more expensive then it gives off an intangible impression that the item is better and that is what justifies it's value. So Nike shoes vs cheaper adidas shoes...is there practically a difference? No. But Nike tends to have slightly more prestige than adidas which in TCs eyes would justify the price.

Details exist and matter. Whether youre aware of them or value them is a different story but theres no need to pretend like differences dont exist

I'm talking about dupes not any generic clothes.

Dupes are basically the exact same thing as the real item these days, not like what we're used to back in the day when they were obvious fakes.

So if only 0.01% of the population can notice it what does it matter?

Couldn't be further from the truth...just depends on the item.

Even designer bags and clothes are being replicated with extreme precision where you literally can't tell. Dupes these days are incredibly realistic. They are disguised as other items on Amazon.

Down to 172.2 today.

Started at 183 like 8 weeks ago I think. Only about 3 of those weeks were hardcore dieting. The rest were IIFYM where I ate donuts, candy, fast food, starbucks, etc but I just made sure I stayed under my calories. What happened was I decided to buy a house and that stress completely threw me off my game. Then I got this bad URI that knocked me out for like 10 days. That stress is settling down now, so I'm getting back into working out and dieting. So 172.2 is pretty remarkable considering all that. Goal is 1 lb per week loss now until I lose my abdominal pudge. 6'0 and slim frame. I'm thinking get to 160 then do a clean bulk all the way back up to 180, gaining 0.75-1 lb per week.
