Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

I've cleared the game twice, and I'm currently stuck on NG+2 True Final Boss at the moment.

I can say I've never played those 3 games.

I honestly got sort of burnt out on the series as time passed.

I think it's because I played the first one to death. Heck, I even defeated the super final boss with just one character. Flonne vs. Uber Prinny Baal.
I dropped quite a lot of time into D2.
And with D3, I played it for a while, and that's where the series started to wear on me.

I wonder when I will finish Armored Core VI.

I'm stuck on the End of Chapter 4 boss after 3+ hours of dying continuously to it.

And...the Enforcer made it's point known. Haven't quite been able to cross the finish line with this boss. The best I've down is about 10-15% of it's AP remaining.

I'm on Chapter 4 second mission at the moment.

I typically use the twin laser cannons, a large explosive cannon and the blade weapon. Seems to work pretty efficiently.

Upgrades, I have currently have:
Melee weapon damage +10%
Direct Hit damage +15%
Damage Reduction -12%
Repair Kit AP+2000

I'll be busy playing Armored Core VI myself.

I was thinking I had my newest phone for greater than one year, but now I remember it was less than one.

I had to get a new one, since the 4G signal on the previous phone was completely out of date, since it won't connect in anyway for a phone call, so, I was forced to get a 5G phone, since I didn't have a choice. There was nothing else wrong with my old phone, as it still allows texts and connecting with the internet with no issues.

Finally got the game.

Cleared the game up through the Strider boss.

The energy sword weapon gets plenty of use so far.

In the original RE2, upgrading the base shotgun with the custom parts, and then the first time you blow a zombie right in half with the weapon's blast!

My local store still has the shipment delayed. oh well.

Due to a delivery issue, it wasn't available to pick up today. I'll have to wait till tomorrow it seems.

Well, this remake is looking mighty good.

If Zone of the Enders is a 1

and Steel Battalion is a 5

Armored Core is like a 3.5. Kinda a blend of a the two, but trends more on the simulation side of things. There's a ton of customization to your mechs and they all look fairly realistic, but there's a lot of speed to the combat while also feeling weighty.

and I'm assuming AC6 will be mission based like all the others and not some world to explore like Souls games

I still have my copy of Steel Battalion. There's just something to be said about the massive controller that comes with the game. I don't think I've ever gotten farther than Mission 7 though.

Mandatory connection is a deal breaker for me.

I remember when I bought Dragon Force for Sega Saturn for about $60.

Now it seems to be valued somewhere around $250+. Yup.

Also, I bought Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance at the time it was worth not much. That's a game I paid $13 for. Not bad. Same kind of thing with Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, I think I spent $20 on that game.

All 3 of these games I still have.

Yes. Persona 5 is amazing but it's also way too fucking long. I dropped it halfway when playing it back in 2017, and I had to force myself to beat the Switch port.

Persona games can run really long. I thought the late game storyline dungeons in 5 seemed like they overstayed their welcome in some instances.

I remember one time in Dark Souls, I had a boss throw me off a cliff, and then strangely, the boss followed, so it killed itself, and the kill counted. I was expecting to refight it after respawning, only to find the fog gate gone, I thought for sure the game was going to make the *free kill* not count. However, being Dark Souls, the game saves all progress, so you couldn't go back anyways, apart from starting a new save file.

I find both tea and coffee taste horrible, so it's neither for me.

I only just started playing PS4 games last year, and that's when I got my PS5.

I went straight from PS3 to PS5.

So, my PS4 list of games is pretty small:
Resident Evil 2 Remake, Dark Souls III and Bloodborne make the list.

I'm still on the fence with Tales of Berseria, only 13 hours in.

My account is approaching 19 years, on July 19th, how convenient.

I enjoyed 3 on PS2. I even defeated all of the special bosses in the game. And even though the final special boss had 20 Million HP, it wasn't really all that bad with the proper stats and equipment.

Maybe I'll give this remake of S02 a look.

In USA, sports betting won't be going away, since tax revenue can be collected from all of the money coming in. It's that simple.

I remember a point as to why Hillary didn't win, was because she effectively ignored, or did minimal campaigning in states she thought were safe Democrat electoral votes, and Trump made his presence known in those states, giving him the tipping point to pick up those electoral votes.

I have Command & Conquer on my PSP via the PSN version. I played that a lot, great game.
