You shouldn't need a diagnosis to be able to take a mental health day. Sure, but mental health is like physical health. Are you having a "mild headache" mental health day, a "sprained ankle" mental health day, or a "gunshot wound" mental health day? Those require different treatment. A YouTuber I used to watch a lot was changing his last name to his stepfather's and found out that it would be no extra charge to change his middle name at the same time. The middle name thing was interesting. At first he didn't want one, then he wanted one that was tied to my heritage. Is this a trans thing(sorry to everyone if the way I used trans there is improper) or are they just straight up changing their name because they don't like the one you gave them? Yes, he is trans. It was important for him to officially change the name so it was no longer "preferred name".
