The add ons pushed for the genesis werent exactly selling like hotcakes. Sure Sega of Japan made Saturn development a Herculean task but Sega of America vetoed localizations and did terrible marketing

Pretty much what this guy said. I'm not an RPG fan, but once Final Fantasy VII moved to PlayStation, it sealed the fate of the 64. Crash Bandicoot was the first true killer app. FFVII delivered the knockout. Nintendo shot themselves in the foot with the 64 and GameCube. Carts did hurt it, but CD systems were not a proven success when it was in development, so I can't blame the 64 fully because of that.

Saturn failing was more Sega of Japan being idiots. GameCube failing was multiple reasons.

Actually Saturn failed for a myriad of reasons too.
Sega of America made some pretty dumb decisions regarding Saturn probably more so than Japan did

Morrowind is the only (main series) Elder Scrolls game that I just flat out refused to play beyond an hour or so. I even beat Arena as obtuse and confusing as that game is. Morrowind just sucks.

I'd have to disagree with you on atmosphere. I remember exploring morrowind with wonder, while wandering through Oblivion with apathy. At least they learned their lesson and gave Skyrim some better environment design than Oblivion had.

Oblivion had better environments than Skyrim imo. Skyrim had better cities/towns though imo

morrowind just beats both in atmosphere/environments imo

Morrowind has the best main storyline (easily) and roleplaying of the three games. It also has the weakest combat, music (I'd even put it below Daggerfall), atmosphere (unique doesn't necessarily mean good), and most generic NPCs. All three games are either in or just out of my top 10, though.

Dismantled enough that the remaining vestiges aren't enough to be a threat to anyone. Denying unpleasant history is bad, certainly, but it's on a very different level from neo-Nazis and other white supremacist groups gaining as much power as they have in many other countries. There's pretty much zero chance of Japan actually perpetrating any further war crimes against China or Korea (for that matter, any modern discussion of human rights violations involving China mostly ends up talking about what China is doing right now, rather than historical crimes committed against them). The country that has to worry most about conservative Japanese culture is Japan itself.

Not every evil needs to be compared to other evils. I recognized Nazis and white supremacists as the pinnacle of evil already.

Who is claiming anything you're saying here? Aside from hardcore right-wing nutjobs in Japan I don't think I've ever seen anyone make any of those claims. The only reason anyone who natively speaks English would think Japan is the least bad Axis member is because they killed the fewest white people.

It's not particularly surprising that Japan has their equivalent of neo-Nazis, any more so than neo-Nazis are surprising elsewhere in the world. Imperial Japan was so thoroughly dismantled that I'm not too concerned about them gaining any real traction, but I'd still expect them to exist. Ideologies don't die when they get blown up.

I think it's more that he likes to think he's exposing us as hypocrites for disapproving of Axis war crimes but not automatically considering Israel to be the good guys in the current conflict (because he seems to be the sort of person that believes that being the same ethnicity of victims of a genocide means you can't perpetrate one of your own). That, or he believes that the reason people aren't siding with Israel is because we're all secretly Nazis and he's hoping to expose that by tricking people into admitting that they sympathize with Axis powers. This is at least the second topic he's made asking people's opinions about the Axis' actions in/around WWII.

Nope this has nothing to do with Israel. This is about imperial Japan and their human atrocities that get denied/minimized to this day by the Japanese government.

wtf? I never denied the holocaust which is the greatest evil known to humanity. I just said it overshadows Japan and Italys human rights violations.

They are generally viewed as the least bad of the axis by most but that is not something to be proud of.

Japans civilians were nuked which was terrible. However a fringe minority is trying to spin Japan as the good guys in ww2. They claim that Nanking, unit 731, and the Bataan death march are fabricated/made up. They claim that Japan is a perfect nation that has done no wrong throughout its history.

honestly it was late Xbox one to series that I started to root for microsoft

I wanted to be an actor growing up but my parents talked me out of it. I took drama classes in high school but my parents wanted me to run track/cross country I made a deal with my dad that if he bought me a 360 I would. So instead of being a drama nerd I got to live in gaming bliss a decision I do not regret. Here is why in college I took a class that I eventually got a b in but my professor said I lacked emotion and I eventually was talked out it.

throughout my life I heard things like I was too ugly, you have to have parents that are actors (surprising how much my dads statement was true )because barring comedic acting most famous actors have a bloodline in acting, you have to start young, etc.

another dream and one I hope with the advent of ai that I can possibly achieve is making a game. I would honestly rather make games than be an actor now anyways.

It wasn't a great movie, but to be fair, the franchise had been on a downward trajectory, just like most of the MCU.

The High Evolutionary was fun, though. And they did finally give us Adam Warlock.

It was the best of the three guardians movies imo.

spiderverse, sure yes sony pushed it hard because that's like all they have and they want to keep hold of their license, but given sonys other movies, the live action ones such as morbius or venoms (which i liked, i liked the venom movies), no i wouldn't say it was because of sony
