Framing it as harassing a homeless guy just you ignoring basic information just to be bitter and form your own opinion. He was a suspicious person in the neighborhood, and those of us in the neighborhood who participate in our neighborhood watch just did what we usually do. I filled in the information about what he was doing in the original post just to give more details about the situation.

If you want to be bitter about it, thats on you. If you want to read and comprehend all of the information provided and continue to have an actual discussion, thats fine, too.

It's just odd to take the situation that happened and then post a topic with the title "well that was awesome" as if the incident filled you with this giddy thrill. Posting the details in the manner that you did comes across like you don't think of the guy as a person and more of just a prop for your telling of the tale

It's not that he was just existing in the vicinity. He's a stranger who rang someone's doorbell at almost midnight. Not sure how many times this will need to be stated, but it would help move the conversation along if people actually read.

I just find it strange that someone would find out they harassed an innocent homeless guy and then decide that the next step is to post about the guy online instead of having the common decency to move on
