Although I saw the Smile's tickets were pretty high for a relatively unknown band, so I try to keep cognizant that some bands have high ticket prices as a result of being eco-conscious in their touring protocols (assuming that's what it was).

I think it's a mix of TM fuckery and GD agent fuckery.

I was going to buy tickets and they were like $300 before fees for seats in the middle of the outdoor venue.

Cheaper decent tickets I almost grabbed for $124 but then I probably wouldn't be able to even see them and the fees from Ticketmaster would kill the wallet. I see the good seats are over $500 and even more for the "Welcome to Paradise" package. Smashing Pumpkins are not even at this particular show and it's in fucking Kansas lol.

Could you imagine if they cured aging and those of us will be already be old by then and were stuck with healthier organs, but old ass skin lol.

It definitely comes off that way. There is a big difference between assuming a person is guilty just because they were accused, and trying to find reasons that the accusers might be lying. Saying "I just think it's weird" is basically saying "I don't believe the accusers"

You're choosing a side with out any evidence, and it's against the people who are claiming to be the victims of a heinous crime.

Sorry I worded it to come off that way then. It wasn't my intention and I'm just uneducated in these matters it seems and I'm not afraid to admit that and thank you for educating me some in the matter. I didn't think I was choosing a side. I thought I was not choosing either side by saying to wait till there is proof and he's proven guilty. The people defending him in the first post on Twitter are shitty people so it does not help his look in the matter. If it comes off as true then I hope he gets punished and the victims are able to get through this knowing a tyrant was put away.

Typically in cases like this the victims don't speak up because their abuser is either famous, wealthy, or powerful, if not some combination of the three, and the victim feels that they won't be believed, and even if they are, their abuser will still get away with it due to the fame, money, and/or power.

Yeah I get that, but from my pov I didn't think he was a powerful figure, low tier famous, and not really wealthy outside of being a niche podcaster. The timing is odd is all, but I am in no way defending him. If it comes off that way then I apologize in advance for being ignorant to this sort of thing.

All I did was question why he's getting accused 10-13 years later and said if it is all true then I hope he gets in legal trouble for it. I mean I'm on the same page as others ITT and am just puzzled as to why it's happening now and why he would make a video disregarding it. I don't think it's wrong to not condemn someone for allegations until proof is given or they are guilty in a court of law.

I mean it is kind of odd they waited 10-13 years to say something and it is just allegations which if true, should get him in legal trouble. He did make a video telling people not to believe it and usually if you're guilty in these cases the celebs usually stay silent. I hate to say he's guilty without proof cause we've seen this happen before where the person ended up as innocent. People ITT are saying he's right wing though which I didn't know cause I honestly haven't heard of the dude since his short stint in Hollywood when he married Katy Perry.

Seniors in high school date freshman. If they stay together, then at some point they are a senior in college dating a senior in high school.

My prom had a wild age range because, due to this reason, they let 23 year olds attend prom.

So you had at least 100 girls dating college age guys, and 100 guys dating freshman age girls. So technically you had groups of Prom parties riding in limos that had 23 year old men, and 14 year old girls in it.

Seems weird now, but at the time it was just the normal progression of things. Even I was guilty of it.

When I was a senior in high school I dated a few freshman girls, so I was 17 and they were 14, then I turned 18 and they turned 15, but occasionally there would be some overlap. When I was 22 I started dating an 18 year old I had met at a frat party, and I assumed was attending the university, but turns out she was still in high school.

Its really not that uncommon.

Edit: There are some areas of the United States that have no middle school. Usually for population/funding reasons. To my understanding it goes K-7, and 8-12. In which case that prom night example can get even more sketch.

Yeah this was pretty normal when you break it down like that when you're a senior in highschool. Usually I saw girls that were 16 dating guys who were 19-21 mostly not the 18 and 14. It's wrong overall yeah, but it's also not unheard of at least back in the 00s. Idk about today.

Hollywood was notorious in the 00s for celebs grooming teens with drugs and alcohol and they thought it was completely normal. Hell all of Hollywood history is filled with pedos. It's good that the internet is stepping up for it nowadays. It's just a bit too late for the ones like Kutcher who isn't actively working anymore so it's not like anything can be done to him.

True I forgot about that it's been so long. I was in 7th grade at the time and my middle school computers blocked pretty much all sites lol.
