I wasn't a HUGE fan of his or went out of my way to watch every video of his or anything, but I have watched several of his videos over the years and was pretty familiar with his work.

I've watched enough atleast of him to have a pretty positive outlook on him before this charity fraud stuff popped up. I can't say him turning out to be shit would be that personally devestating to me when I didn't follow him that much, but it would still be quite disappointing.

I didn't really think Love and Thunder was that bad tbh. Atleast I thought it started to get better halfway through around the time they reach that city of gods and ended on a pretty nice note.

but yeah, there was alot more misses with the humor compared to Ragnarok and Thor 4 is still one of the weaker MCU movies.

I'm guessing it will be another Mario Movie situation:

people as of now we go into doom and gloom mode

then we'll get a casting list and people will go into maximum meme mode over it

then we'll get the first trailer and it won't completely suck ass and everyone will be like "OH WAIT THIS MIGHT BE AMAZING OH SHIT"

Then the movie will come out and the reactions will range from "eh, It was okay" to "it was neat for a Zelda adaptation" to "REEEEEEEEE FILM IS DEAD"

FFV is a top 3 FF game alongside VI and VII for me.

And also, hot take but I think FFV's story is better than its given credit for and not really worse compared to FFIV's or any FF before it (and even some after it). FFV had a death scene that hit harder than any death or """death""" scene from FFIV, Bartz' backstory, the stuff between Lenna and Faris, Faris herself being cool as shit, some of the lore stuff with the dawn warriors, different worlds, Enuo (who would become more of a thing in FFV advance or the mobile version), it obviously also had more humor and quirkiness to it which was also greatly appreciated. I'm not going to say FFV's story was super amazing or one of the better FF stories but it was alot more than just "funny dumb FF story" nor do I think its one of the weaker ones either .

As someone that's actually played the games, it did feel like there was more going on between Bayonetta and her dynamic with Jeanne than there was with her dynamic with Luka.

Like in the first game where we find out Bayonetta and Jeanne have known eachother and were close since ancient times, or how in the second game Bayonetta literally goes to the depths of hell to save Jeanne's soul.

All this, plus I'm pretty sure there was actual official art showing Bayonetta and jeanne being naked in bed together or something like that.

people thinking Bayonetta and Jeanne were an item before the third game was not just some random thing that people pulled from their asses.

I thought the first half or so of Ant-Man 3 and the way they ended the movie was good. Everything in-between was a lot more meh but overall I liked it.

Eternals wasn't "bad" but it was pretty mid overall.

I didn't mind overdrive THAT much in Chained Echoes and thought it was interesting, but it could be frustrating and lead to some "pick your poison" situations where you either heal and put yourself in the red or don't heal to not lower your defense but have lower HP.

What I REALLY didn't like though was the mech combat, and the story started going in awkward directions.

I was liking Chained Echoes quite a bit during its first part, but found myself losing interesting and slogging to finish it from the second part onward.

As for Sea of Stars, I'm still in the middle of. So far its been pretty good and will hopefully not fall off (I've gotten as far as defeating the storm captain and getting a boat)

Is there a single Final Fantasy game that would be vastly different with out Moogles? In 6 one is a party member and there are some who help you during a couple of battles. In 9 they're the save points (easily replaceable) and have some side quests, but the game wouldn't be completely different with out them.

I don't recall them being in 4 or 10 at all, in 7 they're just in a mini-game, and in 8 they're just a card? Although 8 doesn't really utilize Chocobo, either.

They had some story importance in FFV and helped Bartz and crew on more than one occasion.

I think SMW was still fine after Vanilla Dome.
Only thing I that really sticks out as a tiny bit weak/lame is how lacking "world 4" was, or the bridge area leading to Ludwig. Also sort of weird they had Larry and Bowser share an area
This stuff isn't really that big of a deal or anything, but after every koopaling and Bowser had their own fleshed out dedicated areas in SMB3, its a little bit underwhelming
