Wooper Quagsire Piplup Spheal Honorable mentions go to the rest of the Mudkip/Piplup/Spheal lines that I didn't already list, as well as Araquanid, Starmie, Gyarados, and the entire Lotad line. Honestly, even though the Water type has the lowest lows out of all of Pokemon, it's also got plenty of decently high highs too. I still haven't beaten it to this day. Every time I try I just give up midway through the game. I think the furthest I've gotten was like... Chapter 7, or something. Whats the GOAT Yakuza game to start with? Ive never played one but I always check out the topics people make about the series & they seem like my style of game0 for sure. People say Like a Dragon (AKA 7) is a good starting point too and I guess I sorta agree since it stars a new cast. But I think some of the old cast does show up from time to time, so there may be spoilers, direct or indirect, for past games involving the old cast. Plus I personally REALLY didn't like the RPG mechanics in LAD/7 which is... weird. Because I LOVE RPGs and I LOVE Yakuza. It was a literal match made in heaven and they somehow fucked it up. I like it well enough but I go through these phases where I'll have 3 different games I'm playing on it at any given point and then I suddenly stop using it completely for like a month. Then when I go back to it it's with a different set of games. It's really nice being able to play PC games without needing to confine myself to one spot though. Hell no lol. It is a catchy song, but not after you're forced to listen to it like 500 times during the story and subquests >_>I mean, I've listened to it like 500 times on my own time. It's that catchy. It's that good. If anything, I only took notice of it BECAUSE you're forced to listen to it so often. Though I should mention my experience with Yakuza 5 was watching someone play it, then playing through it myself, but in my current playthrough I'm only on Part 3 First Half so I haven't actually been forced to listen to it TOO often yet. Have you watched a glitchless run? It is done legitimately.I think the point is that it is literally impossible to avoid glitches in RBY. The opening cutscene has the Pokemon that Oak sends out use the wrong cry, which could be considered a glitch. Even if you don't count that, there's the badge boost glitch, where stat ups from badges get applied every time your stats change. This is TECHNICALLY avoidable, but then you're barred from using moves like Swords Dance and Amnesia. And if you get hit by a Growl that's outside of your control? Say goodbye to THAT run. And that's not even getting into the myriad of other ways you could unintentionally fuck shit up. I am aware that glitchless runs for RBY at least mainly just ban INTENTIONALLY glitching the game, but I think the point Revelation was making is that a TRUE glitchless run is just flat out impossible thanks to RBY's spaghetti code. --- The Bagel made me do it.
