I've also noticed a weird case where some games have to be played in offline mode because, while 99% of the game is Proton compatible, for whatever reason the online portal is not and causes crashing. >_>

The main reason nowadays is certain devs just refusing to allow their anti-cheat software, game launchers, or subscription services to run om Linux. Despite Linux being able to handle them.

As far as raw technical ability goes, Proton can run most Windows games well at this point. The Steam Deck really hastened development on that front, benefitting Linux in general.

Other than throwing Ukraine under the bus, there is no way to end this war quickly.

If that's the only possible way, then people just have to accept anti-war folks suggesting it. It really is an agree to disagree matter.

But an alternative is Ukraine's allies steamrolling Russia's invading forces. I actually don't think Putin has the balls to pull out the nukes over it.

What bothers me about the FTC going after Microsoft is that they didnt do this to Sony, and Sony is the Japanese company. Sony has a long history of doing this stuff, and the FTC is just like, you can operate here. But when Microsoft makes a smart business move, they want to stop them.

They didn't do anything about MS buying Bethesda either. Activision's relevance is the problem. Sony has never bought a game studio as big as Activision.

To be absolutely honest, I have never seen nor encountered an incel who politically swings left at all.

It's a case of acceptance.

Say a lonely guy starts complaining about being unable to get laid, double standards against men in dating, how women have higher standards and an easier time getting dates, women dating jerks, etc.

On a percentage level absolutely not. His favorables have consistently been lower than Obama's at the same points of their presidency.

In terms of total supporters yes, but Trump also had more total supporters than Obama; that's just how population growth works, there are more people alive now than in 2008/2012.

Let's be real. People would get pissed off at any major timed exclusives for Xbox because right now PlayStation is a more popular platform and most people who own a PlayStation don't want to buy an Xbox.

That's just impatience though. When RotTR was timed exclusive I went, "bizarre choice, but ok." Since eventually I got to play the game.

This new trend of multiplats downgrading into permanent exclusives is what's going to piss people off for good reason. Having to wait is far better than never getting the game.

There should be a set amount based on location/economy that a child "needs" to survive. Kevin Costner's kids don't deserve anything more than a minimum wage guy's kids.

More money now can mean less money later. Titanfall for example is thoroughly forgotten becauss it took the MS money to go XB1 exclusive with its first game. It probably could've become a big success if it started on a console people actually bought.

Tales of Vesperia was a massive hit in Japan where it got a PS3 release and its MC debatably became the most popular character in the Tales franchise there. ToV did less well in the US where it took the MS money to go 360 exclusive.

Because the amount of money MS would have to pay to lock down certain Xbox exclusives going forward (after multiple of generations coming last place in install base, and devs learning the consequences of going exclusive to the less successful console) they probably do feel its more efficient to just buy the studios outright.
