welcome to the "gig economy" lol. i've never done it but what you say seems to be what the general concensus is on that app. it's literally worse than minimum wage (in my country), and by a country mile at that. Friend of mine was laid off and did it on his bike downtown toronto and was making 60-80 bucks for 6 hours of work (minimum would have been $90+, but his normal job woulda paid him 180+ for 6hrs). For the first time in my life I semi-regularly cut my own hair. About once every 6mo. I'd like to get better at it -- i've always done my own beard and I got pretty good at that.

30 used to get you a premium-ish haircut. now, with tip, its about the standard rate for a standard cut.

most i ever paid was 65. it wasn't even that good of a cut. i got bamboozled.
cheapest i ever paid for an amazing cut was 20. It was from a refugee from Africa working at a cheapo chain haircut place, like Greatclips or Supercuts. She obviously was very skilled -- i wish i followed up with her to make her my regular barber. i haven't had a real regular in years now

Farrell is probably better. Sandler had the better movies, and probably the top end of characters, but Farrell had the higher floor and more overall consistency in his roles. Like...little nicky sucked. Decent movie, but Sandler was garbage in it.
