yes because if there's one thing that people are clamouring for, it's a therapist who doesn't improve anything. that's like saying "plumbers are a scam, you're their income, all they'll do is break your pipes so you keep coming back". if you fuck up the service, why would they come back?

Topic... how is this any different from America destroying native americans?
Neoconkers

FlyEaglesFly24 posted...
Well, it depends on how you view the conflict.

If you call it the Palestinian Israeli conflict - it basically the same, although it wasnt like the Native Americans shut their doors to the Americans (to be fair, everyone did) while they were getting butchered by the Nazis, and as was already stated there were attempts at a two state solution that were sabotaged by internal and external elements several times over the years. And its not like Native Americans have rained rockets on American towns. In other words, if you took Hamas out of the equation, its the same, and the complaint is 100% justified.

But if you call it the Arab Israeli conflict, it becomes a bit more nuanced, and a little less clear. For one thing, its not like the US was attacked over and over again by its neighbors for decades only to soundly defeat them in War. And its not like the Arabs as an ethnicity are in danger of being ethnically cleansed from the entirety of their homeland, as there are Arabic countries all over the place in the Middle East, some of which get along with Israel in varying degrees. In which case, Israels fight for survival is about holding on to a small part of what is actually a big ass piece of land. In that way, its not the same at all.

And the thing is, the truth is probably somewhere of those two narratives, leaning closer to the first with elements of the second being apparent as well.
I mean while I agree with the principle, the native americans DID fight back against settler occupation with civilian massacres on a number of occasions. Whether that's justified or not, it's what happened.

In addition, saying "it's not like Arabs are going to be cleansed from the whole peninsula" as a defence is like saying "well, the bosniaks weren't really being genocided, there were a load of them in slovenia and croatia!"

This is quite a far cry from what actually happened. A police officer alleged he held his hand in his pocket like he had a gun. No gunfire was exchanged.

Given so many isolated incidents I'm just a bit skeptical that you can take a police officer's word at face value, also.

You know, wait for all the facts.
while I do agree with the US police being trigger-happy and more than willing to pretend someone looked like they had a gun, the fact this kid was involved with 9 other carjackings makes me a lot more likely to believe he was trying to look armed.

ok what avenues do they have to affect the country they live in? the point of a democracy is that we all have a say, if voting is no longer an option for change because "it's their turn", then what SHOULD they do?

Nowadays malware that steals your information is kinda of obsolete anyway. Companies just sell your information which they gather by requiring you to have a stupid account for everything.
definitely not obsolete, but inefficient from a ROI standpoint. Why craft a malware to steal information from personal computers when you can craft one to steal credentials/email data/chrome login stuff from CORPORATE computers and then sell that access on to the nastier criminals? "Initial Access Brokers" are a huge part of the ransomware chain, there's good money in it. and they don't need to muddy their hands with actually negotiating with victims.

Personal computer infostealers still exist, but the main one I can think of off the top of my head mainly focuses on stealing cryptocurrency wallet details.

no. literally my job, so I can tell you on a personal computer level it's coming from clicking popup ads on sites like wordpress blogs/storefronts or - funnily enough - fandom wikis, etc., or from downloading cracked software. and on a corporate level it's going to links in attacker-sent emails (though they're often sending them from legitimate email accounts on machines they've already got into), or also downloading cracked software.

Microsoft's pretty much culled the bad Office document, so there tends not to be attachments in your bad emails anymore, it's usually a link pointing to a .zip file, with usually a javascript file inside the zip.

"perry doesn't need to be fired, he didn't initiate!"

fight or no fight, he was told No to his glass spot multiple times by multiple different people, including BUT NOT LIMITED TO Punk. and then decided that the biggest show they've ever put on, live on air, was the best time to air his grievances to shittalk their biggest star? absolute liability. like if val venis decided to grab the camera at wrestlemania to scream at steve austin.

firing one end of this incident doesn't make tony khan look like a strong leader, he's being walked over constantly. culling both sides and making a strong statement that any more extracurricular friction is a one-way ticket to the bingo halls is the only way he doesn't look like a fuckin carpet. but that won't happen because he's too keen on snorting adderall with the friends he pays for with daddy's money.

the issue here isn't punk, it isn't perry, it's khan. there's no "cancer to the locker room", that locker room has been infested from day one.
