South Korea may be overtaking Japan in popularity, with all its pop songs and parasitey movies and whatnot (especially among gen z) but it will never excel in cuisine compared to Japanese cuisine which is just so much better and Korean cuisine is just too much sauces that I dislike, and too many methods of food preparation that I dislike.

Gochujang solos pretty much every sauce to come out of Japan, and I love Japanese cuisine.

Tomorrow will be the first game 7 in Phillies postseason history from what I can tell.

This isn't about 2016. This is about the fact that there is a large anti-American cult that has already committed one major terrorist attack against America. There is definitely going to need to be a lot of deprogramming done once the central figure of said cult fades into obscurity.

The 2006 Cardinals are still the kings of anything can happen in the playoffs. They snuck in with a .516 winning percentage because the rest of the division was even worse, and won the whole thing.

The Phillies didn't have much business making the playoffs last year, and they did all right with it.

Here's hoping they can win a couple more games in the postseason this year.

Looking like we're hosting the Marlins in the first round and not the Diamondbacks. I'm not overly enthused by this, since the Marlins tend to be one of the most frustrating teams for the Phillies to play.

I've not tried the curry one, but I've had most of the other Samyang flavors and there's really not a bad one in the lot. I'll look into picking up the curry one next time I'm at the Asian markets.

The carbonara flavor is Samyang's best spicy chicken ramen. It's nowhere near as spicy as their main buldak stuff, but it's damn delicious.

I don't have to break out the bottle of milk unless I'm doing their 3x spicy buldak, but since that one's not really available much in America outside of paying a premium on import, once was enough for that flavor.

Top wild card clinched, resting starters tonight and the hung over B-team is playing a competitive game against the Pirates.

Hmm. I hated Brussels sprouts as a kid, but boiled sprouts in the 80's are a hell of a lot different than roasted sprouts now since they genetically engineered them to be less bitter. They were shockingly good when I had a salad with sprouts after decades of avoiding them like the plague.

I've never been big on onions and still don't care for them raw. They're damn good sauteed or grilled though.

Never had snails, but I'd try them.

Had pretty much everything else on the list and wouldn't refuse to eat any of them. The standard condiments aren't my favorite things and I don't do much with eggplants, but I enjoy or absolutely love like half of the foods on that list.
