I remember that mutant teenager from the Ultimate universe who unknowingly emits deadly toxins, killing everyone within a certain distance. He would definitely want a "mutant cure" for his power.

That was one sad and fucked up short, kid woke up to everyone dead as his mutation activated when he was asleep and killed everyone in his town. Him waking up having no idea what happened is the real sad part since he could not even control it.
