Shit my kid is in religion class and the teacher though it would be a wonderful idea for the kids to ask for a donation in their name for Christmas and for them to share it with the class to see what a difference they are making. I am going to make a donation to Planned Parenthood and watch the teachers head explode. I personally cant wait.

That's what happened to my Dad when he was having his first stroke. It's very scary, but from the way you describe it, she's recovered significantly since then. Hopefully things keep getting better for her and she continues to receive good care from the hospital.

Thanks, the gastro and neuro doctors have been incredible, and the nurses as always have been incredibly caring and responsive. Its nice being told everything clearly and effectively, and not being resented for asking questions that wouldnt occur to my mum. The heart doctors continue to be incommunicado and aloof. Heard more about the options to deal with the clot in her heart from the neurologist than the heart dr
