Now the game seems unwanting to register that I played with a new deck I created and played with. I guess if I keep making new decks and playing I will eventually get the achievement.

Also it's funny people keep snapping on me and losing or retreating. I'm new to the game but I'm pretty experienced with strategy games.

The majority of your opponents on the ladder at low rank and low CL and especially this late into a season are going to be bots. They mix some real people in for sure but its mostly bots all the way to infinite in those conditions. But there are a variety of bots; some mimic human behaviour, some will always throw on the final turn if possible, some absolutely cheat/read your hand/read your plays before making their own, some will always snap late game if they are up in 2 lanes (which you can take advantage of by purposely playing from behind if you know you can make a big turn 6 play to win and get 8 cubes), some will always retreat if you snap while youre ahead, etc...

Yeah Im leaning towards just pulling the trigger, I also dont have Jeff so I need 4 spotlights for the first week of December but I just roughly did the math and I'll definitely be back to 4 by then just from the 450 credits per day from Daily Missions even if I spend another 2 this week

Was pulling spotlights this week for Kitty since I started after they gave her to everyone for free and hit her on #2 (with X-23 on the first), debating on continuing to pull for Nico and Phoenix

With basically no one playing Cosmo anymore in the current meta (especially the Discard players that are everywhere right now), Ive been running rampant in conquest with the old Wong/Mystique/Tiger/BP/Odin/Ironheart core right now

Also nice to knock out the play 100 or 200 power missions in a single game

God I hate when weekend missions that are just to play a single specific archetype, I've done 10 conquests and faced nothing but Discard decks every single time, the lack of variety is so dull

lmao, I threw together a deck with all the cards I have that had the discard keyword (basically just the Pool 2 Discard cards + Gambit and filler) in order to bang out the weekend mission and actually beat someone playing a full on optimized Modok/Drac/Apoc discard deck in a conquest. I've never touched the discard archetype since I have literally none of the good cards for it and was playing specifically to discard as many cards per game as possible, regardless of what I was actually discarding any given turn. Dude was going crazy on the Ms Marvel emote

Im right there with you on CL, i think I'm about to hit 1300, were gonna have to slog through another couple thousand levels until were series 3 complete from everything I hear. Only at 34 of 99 right now

Every set of 9 collectors reserves guarantees 2 card unlocks, so if youre really unlucky you can open up to 14 in a row with no new card

There are also Twitch drops going on, its a Shocker variant though so will only ever be used in High Evo, but you can get an easy 500 credits if you just open a stream with drops, mute the tab, and let it run for 4 hours

The difference is Oda himself was heavily involved with all aspects of the OP live action show and personally approved any and all changes made, whereas the Avatar creators bailed out of this project because they felt their creative vision wasn't being supported

Thanks everyone for the tips. Lots of info I didn't know about that helps out a lot. Saving up some credits now make a big push into pool 3 to get as many chances as I can to start with some good cards.

IIRC the game takes the amount of unspent credits you have (and how many CL levels it potentially represents) into account for matchmaking so sitting at the end of Pool 2 and piling up credits doesn't do much for you, your gonna start to face people with Series 3/4/5 cards anyway and you'll just be sitting there with your Pool 2 decks.

Just spend the credits as you get them and unlock some Pool 3 cards asap, what you pull early in the track will inform you on what to target for your free card. You also want to get to 500 asap to unlock the Token Shop so that you can also target a Series 4 card to compliment your early Pool 3 pulls and free card

Also for the Spotlight Caches I mentioned, every week there are 3 Spotlight Cards (theyll show up on the CL page) that can be obtained from opening spotlight caches that week (theres a 4th option that is a random Series 4/5 card). In general you want to save spotlight caches until a week comes up with a card you really want to get. The general rule is to save Spotlight Caches until you have 4 so that when a week comes up with a card you really want you are guaranteed to get it by opening 4

Its in the shop, I dont remember if its as soon as you hit Pool 3 or if it requires 500 CL like the Token Shop, you dont have to wait until next month, itll be available as soon as you reach the requirement. The card switches every 8 hours, just make sure to pick one before the month ends

Zoo decks can pretty easily get around killmonger by just keeping the majority of 1 cost cards in hand to do a big drop on turn 6. You will basically never have priority going into turn 6 so theres nothing they can do to stop it at that point

What are some decks you guys started relying on during pool 2 and onwards?

I started not long ago as well and just broke into Pool 3, when I was still in Pool 2 I was flying up the ranks with an Infinaut deck (hell its still winning a bunch even in early pool 3 with no adjustments despite how telegraphed it is) but fairly bog standard Zoo decks or Dino decks should also carry you pretty easily through Pool 2. Once you break into Pool 3 you'll just need to see what kind of cards you pull early and hope you get something you can build around, youll also unlock the ability to claim 1 free pool 3 card every season once you reach pool 3 so you can scope those out and try to scoop up one that is build defining (the choice rotates every 8 hours so with some patience you should get something good eventually)

Leverless controllers have really shown how lenient a lot of games are on what they consider an SRK motion. You can do weird shit like 616 and it still works

You gain more points for winning than you lose for losing, if you grind enough you'll eventually get there even with a less than 50% win rate.

That being said, fighting games are probably the only genre he has any proficiency in and he was a pro player in the past, the legacy skills are enough to carry someone in a new fighting game

Dan is never going back period, he's said as much himself. Fanbase was SUPER toxic towards him and his family during/leading up to the all star season that just past and, even though there was slim to no chance he would have ever considered going back before that, it closed the door for good.
