Could've had double Platinums for Resonance of Fate (PS3) and the PS4 remaster. Gave away my PS3 a long time ago, and only realized I had a couple trophies left for the original while playing the remaster. The trophy that kept me from doing it the first time was the one for throwing 1000 grenades since I never really used them during my initial playthrough. However, one NG+ of the remaster while focusing on throwing grenades got me the trophy well before the end and honestly it wasn't that bad.

Outside of that specific example its just not being that diligent on beating the main story of a lot of games. Kind of just got to the finale and just stopped because I always wanted to be prepared as possible for the final boss. Been better about it, but still need to constantly remind myself I don't need the best everything to clear the game.

Okay, I was actually expecting that post to be moderated a while ago. Anyway, the point is Atlus won't officially add her into a sequel until they feel its unnecessary to keep her real identity a secret which honestly may never happen given their track record of not even letting people fully stream P3 for well over a decade.

Atlus is pretty finicky when it comes to their stories and I feel one of the main reasons we don't get P5r sequels is because a certain character would need a name change and that would be a massive spoiler for P5R's extra content. P5s released close enough to Royal that I could see this being part of why they weren't in that game, however, its ridiculous at this point. Then again, Atlus only just allowed streamers to play the full game of P5R only a few months back so they probably still think its a spoiler worth protecting.

Still, P5S could've at least had a text message from them since it only shows a profile picture and not the actual name. And while most of the playable cast could just refer to their last name, it wouldn't really make sense from Joker's POV to not call them by their first name. And just calling them by their codename wouldn't make much sense either unless the game took place entirely in the Metaverse.

So basically what I'm saying is, Stop calling her Kasumi and start calling her Sumire. Then maybe Atlus will get the hint that its been four years since Royal and everyone who cares already knows.

Both of them are old proverbs. Basically, if you weren't an adult male back then you shouldn't be involved in conversation.

Edit: Looking into it a bit further, the original proverb is "children should be seen not heard" and means that children shouldn't be involved in adult discussions. It was later twisted into "women should be seen not heard".

Keep at it and I might be able to handle Great Izuchi after a few years.

Its definitely hurt. In all fairness though, "children should be seen not heard" is an old-timey quote and the line is referencing that so I can see how if you're really not paying attention your brain could mishear it as heard.

Reminds me of a dream I had where some guy from Edge said he didn't want to review Cyberpunk 2077 prior to release because he couldn't say anything positive about the game, and people thrashed him for it...then the game came out.

Those pop up for me every now and then but I just ignore them. Most of them seem to come from channels that are just banking on being negative about everything anyway. There's a lot of problems with modern gaming and being dead and uncreative isn't it. In fact, a number of those problems are because its thriving too much and devs are able to exploit that to an extreme degree.

Seen this happen on a livestream once, except it was a generic enemy during the first part of the mission you fight Balteus.

I kept it for the occasional free monthly game, but now I think I'll go and disable auto-renew.

Edit: Also, gotta love how this is in response to MS increasing the price of Game Pass. Definitely late-stage capitalism if "our price is better than the competitor's" isn't considered a market edge.

Basically, yes. I used to get books narrated and recorded on cassettes. Some libraries have stuff like this even back in the early 2000s. There's also an entire free service for people with disabilities such as vision-impairment that sends out books on cassette through the mail. Nowadays, they mostly do it through online services and audiobook formats.

I had that too. The paperback version I owned was pretty cool and I wouldn't say it kept Godzilla's appearance all that secretive. It had a side profile of his face on the cover which was a reflective glossy texture. Also, there was a hole where his eye was which was filled in by the first page's image of his eye.

My personal favorite thing here is the complete and total lack of awareness of the drastic imbalance from choosing between a kid that may not have even been out of high school yet and an adult with a job and some level of financial stability to be a father, especially when said adult's job is counseling others on life decisions.

I saw someone stream it as sponsored content, but not sure on anyone just playing it for free.

No surprise there. Called this shit way back when they first remastered the first game for PS4. Fully expect Last of Us 3 by the end of PS5's lifetime and then a remaster of all three early in the PS6's lifetime.

Exactly. I don't doubt we have the capabilities of building proper tour subs, but this...thing was a death trap and the only possible logic behind it was if it were a convoluted pre-meditated murder/suicide.

I've seen enough movies to know that the crew of the submarine somehow managed to travel back in time, and wound up on the actual Titanic. Where they will die with no one the wiser.

Though at least one of them will say or do something that triggers a slight shift in history, saving someone important who would otherwise have died, but we'll never know because our reality is now the one where that person survived and from our perspective they always survived.

Well fuck. I was coming back to point out the parallel naming of Oceangate with other terrible things that ended in failure like Watergate, Pizzagate, and Gamergate, but this takes the cake. In all seriousness, I agree. Kind of reminds me of when God Eater 3 came out and that shit was getting shoved everywhere. Doesn't help that Japanese devs in general just suck at advertising. At the very least, if they were going to go the sex appeal route I'm sure there's someone else in that game that'd fit the bill way better.
