Kirby doesn't emit steam when he's mad, nor does he need to use a "beam" of sorts to transform enemies into chocolate before consumption.

Then again, I don't care. I like both characters (or better yet, I like all characters from both series).

Pink Kirby debuted in Kirby's Adventure, which came out in 1993.
Kirby's Dream Land in 1992 is his debut and though he was depicted as "white" in the overseas versions, he is "pink" in the Japan release via box art.

To each their own.

I do wish all RPGs forward would let me see enemies so that I can choose to engage battle against them or avoid them, the latter especially if my party about to kick the bucket and risk losing all of my hours-load of progress on a Game Over.

Super Mario Bros: The Movie (1993) is more "weird" than "bad".

Pieology should have never existed, especially considering that every other (big) pizza restaurant (especially to this day) does everything what it did prior, plus their pizzas and ingredients do not sit well with me at all.

The Kirby series (at least, for the mainline games) has become the better "Super Mario" series on Switch than the Super Mario series tried to be.

For the most part, video games that have "character creation/customization" should use games like the Saints Row series and Jump Force as the template for such features and build on from there (at least, for the clothing/aesthetics department). No more of these "outfits only" limitations like the recent Pokmon mainline games have.

Random Encounters in RPGs are pointless and annoying, especially nowadays when we have better technology.

Undertale is a good game and I don't regret it at all, but it was also a "fad".

Probably Super Neptunia RPG.

Compile Heart and Artisan Studios had one job to make a passable non-port Neptunia game on the Nintendo Switch, yet they couldn't even at least make a "poor" one.

Now, I won't go over the long-list of details about everything wrong with that game (even when paired with the series' low-quality reception), but let's just say that the amount of blunders Super Neptunia RPG succumbed to in the game design department is so numerous and massive that the people who say Paper Mario: Sticker Star is the "worst game ever" are better off sticking with that instead of this.

It absolutely boggles the mind on so many angles on how Nintendo Life, a site that I follow fairly often, can score this dumpster fire a 7/10 (while giving the much superior Megadimension Neptunia VII a 6/10).

In my opinion...

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Mario Kart 8)
This should go without saying, but the Booster Course Pass DLC is icing on the cake.

Pokken Tournament DX (Pokken Tournament)
All fighters and stages are included (thus rendering the single player mode "pointless"), plus it has Team Battle mode and additional other features.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (Hyrule Warriors)
All of the Wii U and 3DS versions' contents are bundled into one, alongside a slew of QoL improvements and exclusive features.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Funky Mode.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore (Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE)
A few new features, including (but not limited to) speeding up Session Attack animations.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Super Mario 3D World)
Sped up gameplay, faster saving, and Bowser's Fury mode.

Compared to the later games, I felt that the content in Super Smash Bros Melee was "enough" and in that department, there was plenty for me to look forward to without any of the content available overstaying their welcome.

Classic Mode, for instance, is still my favorite in the series for having randomly-ordered opponents and fun mini games; the later entries' Classic Modes, in my opinion, either felt too repetitive (Super Smash Bros Brawl), too chaotic (Super Smash Bros Melee), or too stripped-down outright (Super Smash Bros Ultimate).

I mean, I never said that the platforming was "game-breaking". They are fine on a practical angle and they are fun when those parts are so, but when the game demands the best of your skills in that regard I found Super Mario RPG to be frustrating than fun...which is surprising to say for a game from a franchise that specializes in that area.

I can still name at least 20 great things Super Mario RPG did for me on the entire platter, but the platforming isn't one of them.

Not at all.

The Mario platforming and isometric angles do not go well together in Super Mario RPG due to having to move Mario (while jumping) in diagonal directions to get anywhere, therefore locking a couple of the best weapons behind those trials (unless if you don't care that much for the characters whose weapons they're associated with) at Bowser's Keep is not cool at all. This wasn't a problem in the succeeding Mario RPGs as their worlds were either designed around moving in 360 angular directions (Paper Mario games and the 3DS Mario & Luigi games) or in the full 8-directional movement; Super Mario RPG's worlds were mostly emphasized around isometric angles and therefore on that degree, you're forced to navigate areas in diagonal directions.

Besides, I HAVE beaten the trials twice at the least and while I can do them again on another playthrough (especially in the upcoming remake), the actions segments are still among some of the worst parts of an otherwise great game.

Super Mario RPG is what Paper Mario failed to be: a masterpiece
Eh, Super Mario RPG is a great game and I'm happy to see it getting a remake on Switch, but it's too difficult for me to consider the original game a "masterpiece" as I found the whole package to be barebones on many angles, especially when compared to other Mario RPGs afterward . No option to swap members mid-battle, only some (physical) attacks can be blocked, no pre-emptive attacks, etc., not to mention that the LUCKY! flowers system is broken.

Paper Mario, meanwhile, managed to run on that same sidewalk where Super Mario RPG walked on otherwise and therefore, becoming a more genuine masterpiece in my book. Sure, Princess Peach takes the back seat and it may not have as much of an impact as being the "first Mario RPG" as its spiritual predecessor did, but the game excels on every other area.

The Wii version is still my favorite Kirby game to this day for having the perfect balancing on many angles, especially with the series' gameplay, in my opinion.

The Switch remake is a great remake and I regret none of it, but it made some unnecessary changes to some of the game's content (Extra Mode being made too comically difficult compared to the right-tempo that it Wii original had, having to bother with Merry Magoland to 100% the game, etc.). That said, while I still prefer the Wii original, the Switch remake is still good to stick to.

At least the Wii U didn't require one to stay constantly connected to play most of its games, as well as having good (if not "great") quality of its first-party titles despite its third-party library being pretty much nowhere to be found.

Stadia, on the other hand, is basically a prime example of what happens when you strike towards that yet-to-be-cemented concept (cloud gaming) far too early while having a library that pretty much nobody gave a damn for, the latter either due to those customers having already owned them on another system or are not interested in them.
