Fan of the books, not a fan of the show. Would probably not have any problem at all if it wasn't called Wheel of Time. My biggest issues are the liberties taken with some of the characters, especially Lan and Perrin. I don't love what they did with Rand and Egwene.

I *do* like how the Two Rivers folks are cast ethnically diverse. That was something that didn't occur to me, reading the books, but makes ABSOLUTE sense considering their origin. Rosamund Pike is a perfect Moiraine, I think they got her just right. Haven't yet decided if I like their depiction of magic. It totally works, but I'm not sure they're doing it well.

I have not yet watched Season 2, but I will be watching it; might rewatch 1.

A recurring theme between the boys is that each thinks the other two are SO much better with women than themself, and I really hope they include that kind of self-deprecation here.

Consider shrimp, especially if you're just getting started, but also read up on the nitrogen cycle. Don't do what I did and buy tank and fish in one go. We killed a lot of fish before finally understanding what our issue was (PH was too *low*, we had overprimed it, and the tests we were using were only looking for high PH).

I just kind of always assume that there's going to be no intimacy time when traveling with family, and be delightfully surprised when there is. In 20 years of marriage with regular (yearly, ish) family travel, I have yet to be surprised.

There are usually a lot of events on-board. Could you sign her up for something that wouldn't be weird for you to not attend? Are you attending any events *with* her? It's one thing to say "yes, that sounds like a good deal", and it's another to get there and realize that you're a compensated baby sitter; might not be sitting well.

I'd be totally okay with striking that first bullet in favor of a longer residency and maybe even a recency qualifier.

I believe the Constitution actually has that first bullet as "Natural-born citizen of the US or living in the US at the time of its nationhood" (we looked it up after watching Hamilton, assuming he wouldn't have been able to be president due to be born outside of it, and thus all the "Never gonna be president now" stuff not making any sense); probably excluded here since no one living meets the secondary qualifier.

There's a tactful way to say it, but the simple truth is people should STFU about what other people look like. If they ask you directly? That's the opportunity for tact, and of course it varies WILDLY by person.

There could maybe be room for an SO to suggest a natural/low makeup look, but it has to be done in just the right way or you run a real risk of being insulting.

honestly i hate ranking this series, i love 2, 3 and 4 equally and for different reasons.

I only tried Dragon Quarter while renting it when it came out and i hate it, but I really want to give another fair shot, I'm sure it doesn't deserve half the hate it gets

The entirety of Dragon Quarter's issues is the title. If it wasn't called Breath of Fire, there wouldn't have been a problem. BoF fans went in expecting BoF4-2 (or whatever kind of organic growth sequel) and got an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE. I know a lot of people that would count Dragon Quarter among their favorite games, and they'd even call it Breath of Fire. I just think that when you get beyond an MC named Ryu, it kinda diverges from there.

It should be protein grams as a target, fat to manage hunger, minimal carbs. The actual proportions of each depend on the individual. 200:125 sounds lopsided to me, but I had a much higher body fat content than this dude appears to. I'm not going to research him, but if those macros were scoped out with assistance of a doctor/dietician, they may be on the up and up.
