once i had a sore ankle and foot and i found myself bored and scouring the internet and thanks to web md i found out i had rheumatoid arthritis, gangrene, and raynaud's phenomenon. and for a little while, i was actually believing it and feeling a little terrified.

so did i start writing up my will, make goodbye calls to all of my friends and family, and then go see the doctor? no. i just played some video games, ate some food and went to sleep. the next day i woke up and my foot was a little better. and the next day i could walk just fine.

i guess i've been coping rather well. living with rheumatoid arthritis, gangrene, and raynaud's phenomenon all this time, and i'm still here. i can't wait to see the prognosis of just what abominable horrors i will be suffering from on my next online diagnosis, whenever i get a cough or a bruise.

fight could have gone either way. judges in boxing can be shady, best not to leave it in their hands.

i wanted francis to win but i dont really think he done enough. if he would have kept his foot on the gas in the 9th and 10th round he probably would have taken it.

it was still a much better performance from ngannou than i had expected. i had pretty much written him off before the fight even began. and then he dropped him lol.

that still doesnt look very good for tyson fury either way you spin it. i mean a world champion isnt supposed to go into deep water against a dude with no professional boxing fights under his belt.

i stand by my opinion. that was no murder or homicide, but it didn't look like a totally innocent hockey play either. now whether he threw up that kick just to stop the puck carrier, or to hurt him, we'll probably never get to know what the guys true intentions were. its just a shame that it happened.

well he did lead the league for penalty minutes last season, and he's no stranger from being ejected from the game, so he's definately not the cleanest player in the game.

but that's not really going to prove what his intentions were on saturday night or anything.

is there an involuntary manslaughter option? i dont believe it was an intentional murder. but it didn't look like a totally innocent hockey play either.

either way i hope to never have to see anything like that happen again. hockey is my sport but i hate to see this kind of shit go down. i want to believe that this was just some kind of fluke accident, but after watching the video its really hard to not be skeptical of it.

i still dont think the guy was actually trying to kill the guy. but still it looked like a pretty dirty play.

well i'm just saying, i'm pretty sure that its illegal to kick people in hockey. players should know that they have a sharp set of blades underneath their feet.

the action was intentional. there was no obvious reason for his leg to come up at that time and then throw a kick at him in that manner. it was an intentional dirty move regardless of whether the intent was to simply knock him down or actually inflict physical damage on him to a less than lethal degree. i'd say involuntary manslaughter as i see no reason he would attempt to kill in front of so many witnesses nor do I believe it was premeditated. it was simple reckless disregard.

He didn't "throw" his leg up at all. Try watching the video. He makes a legit play and gets hit at an awkward spot and the momentum tips him over forward, making his legs raise by necessity. He's not even looking at the guy. You think he has eyes in the back of his head that he used to line that shit up? People tumble all the time and have their skates at head height as a result.

I have never in my life of watching seen a player throw their leg up like that. There was absolutely no reason other than an attempt to take Adam out of the play in the most dangerous way possible.

I just want to say that pointing out thieves like this exist because of low wages and high cost of living =/= supporting thieves.

well perhaps some people need to be rehabilitated, and change their ways. you cant help somebody if they arent willing to help themselves.

i mean shit, i aint sleeping on a mattress stuffed with hundred dollar bills, and i've endured some hardships in my life but i've never resorted to criminal activity, nor will i ever. you'll never find me out there looting stores or smashing car windows looking for shit to steal. my conscience would feel too guilty towards the victims i am hurting, who could very well just be in just of bad of a place right now than i am.

sure some higher paying jobs might help alleviate the issue, even though aint no respectable employer is ever gonna hire somebody with 30+ felonies on their record, but having alot of money aint always gonna fix the issue here. sometimes it aint gonna matter how much they have or hell well off they are, they'll just want more. if i wanted to live that kind of lifestyle, i would try to get into politics.

get some tougher judges who arent afraid to impose stiff sentences and guaranteed these thieves and robbers wouldn't be so brazen, and they would either have to change their ways or face the consequences for their criminal actions.

maybe ive just been raised to know better, and i believe that stealing is immoral and wrong. forgive me for sticking to that all of my life. there is no excuse out there for me that would justify taking something from somebody else that does not belong to me. i know better than that.

you know its weird because i knowa dude here who's lived in this town most of his life and we went to school together and he' got a wife, a kid, a car, and a house to live in, yet he panhandles everyday and he doesnt even care to find a job, even though he is fully capable of working. he's been doing this shit for many many years now, and you want to know why? he makes more money panhandling then he would working a regular job, and he doesnt have to wait for a check to clear. if you truly believe that everybody out there is turning to crime just because they are hungry and down on their luck, i dont know what to tell ya. there' money to be made in crime, and if there's no real risk of consequences, there's gonna be a whole lot more people taking the risk. a stiff judge would be a swift deterrent to that kind of criminal activity. turning a blind eye to it and enabling these people will never make things any better.

And there's significant overlap between people cheering on that imprisonment and people who don't want to address or even acknowledge the underlying problem.

the underlying problem is that there aint enough room in prison and the judges are being too lenient on these criminals. the criminals know this so they won't mind risking it, knowing that if they get caught, they're just gonna get a 30'th slap on the wrist from the same judge as the judge says "Alright buddy, this is the 30'th time ive seen you in my court now, but i'm gonna give you another chance here and if i see you one more time in my courtroom i'm going to be a little upset, and i mean it this time!"

start handing down prison sentences on these hoodlums and scare them straight. guaranteed theyll think twice about stealing from people if they know there will be consequences for their crimes. when the risk is far greater than the reward, why would they even bother to go look for a job and try to live an honest life without victimizing anybody, when there is more money to be made from stealing and robbing and committing other crimes, and much less chance of ever being punished?

Because statistically the vast majority of people committing theft crimes are doing so because they have no other source of income. People are far more willing to risk going to jail to put food on their plates than to go "buy jewelry or billshit."
