I'd just assume that they'd use a mix of scene variations and line changes to clamp down specifically on which movie theatres leaks out recordings while claiming it's "thematic" to the alternate universe angle.

so say if there's an area code or common theatres showing the movie, maybe they'd use 2-3 key things to denote the chain, then changes/omissions to squeal it down even further. or just a canary trap https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canary_trap

Mario Advance 1 and 3 at least bought in new content, even if the former replacd a few duplicate bosses with new ones, and the latter added 6~ new levels. however their treatment over Super Mario World feels kind of atrocious for what it was. the only major things they added was....

  • a Cutscene that's shown once you complete Special World and all exits.
  • the ability to jump to any stage completed.
  • think Luigi gets his sprites and physics from All-Stars+World?

like compare that to something like the Donkey Kong Country Advance trilogy where the creators had pretty much no original assets, and had to reconstruct a lot of assets from scratch (with at least one cited example, Rareware taking photos of the screen and using emulators). i think the first game already had a GBC port, so at least the GBA port added a few minigames (are they required?), and photos you could find in stages.

i think the second and third games added/shuffled a few stages around, i definitely know that DKC3 Advance added a new world. maybe new bosses and a changed soundtrack+additional music tracks. definitely probably more ambitious than the Mario Advance games (for the most part), Rareware apparantly had to tweak the mechanics a bit until they got it to feel right.

assuming the screencrunch harms a lot of the games. i'd have to imagine that Nintendo went absolutely hard on Mario Advance 4.....'s E-reader cards and levels, that they redeemed (for the most part) for it's Wii U VC release, that thankfully they're retaining for the Switch NSO release. Bit better in terms of retaining the modified Advance 4, than, say, Square-Enix prety much pulling a SEGA and delisting digital versions of previous final fantasy PC/Mobile releases (sans the 3D ports), which means you lose out on the bonus dungeons. unsure if the loss of those is justified even if you have 8-directional movements, orchestrated music tracks and higher fidelity sprites that resembles Amano's Art more. (no idea if they reused any art for monsters that appeared in later games for the 3 port. which was supposed to get a Wonderswan version, alongside 1, 2 and 4. got cancelled).

TopicWhat is the best search engine now that Google is straight up trash?

google is only good for casual searches/getting to things for the first time, then you just have bookmarks. bing maybe good if you're just spamming random letters/numbers to gauge up your daily Microsoft Rewards points. (12 points on edge, 90 on anything else, and 60 on mobile. numbers vary by region). click on daily tasks to tick them off. points otherwise are pretty easy except for the time when quizzes asks for correct answers, then you can just go to reddit for those.

it's probably pennies. but if you've been someone on Xbox ecosystem for years, there's a small chance that you might have accrued microsoft reward points just from buying things on xbox. think i heard that someone supposedly won a sweepstakes for a lifetime of Xbox Live, except since it was over $600 dollars, they have to pay the IRS taxes for it. so they just passed on it. guess you could just earn points but keep under that yearly threshold.

you could just milk rewards for game currency or straight up microsoft wallet. (spend in 90 days). being a subscriber to GP (or gamepass ultimate?) technically gives you more points daily from tasks set on the xbox app (PC+Mobile and Xbox), though i have no idea if it's economical to sustain gamepass via points then hope you get far more points from daily checks to outbalance it. or if it was only formally possible when doing things like converting days of Game Pass to Ultimate/Gold, or when they used to have a "1 month of game pass for $1" deal that they stopped doing a while back.

depending on if there's in-app purchases, there's probably some things that's cheaper (in microsoft wallet) than just getting straight up giftcards. (say for Roblox, or overwatch 2 coins?). there's at least Fortnite funneling if you're in a region where you can play the game on their cloud service. (sidestepping having to own an Xbox/gamepass ultimate in general). vbuck currencies are basically shared between eachover, other than Switch....and maaaybe Sony? (unsure of Vbucks earned from cashing in battle pass stars, or completing quest packs).

duckduckgo or yandex for reverse image search? kinda pulling blanks.

EDIT: also, kind of forgot about the Play on PC/Play with friends task. i know you can sit inside a age of empires point lobby (without entering a match) for the PC/Friends task, though i'm unsure if anything like minecraft realms would count, unless it's either one that's absolutely basic or it's a layered realm with modes. (or they'd expect actual xbox live friends?). you don't even need to play with actual friends for the AOE lobby method.
