No. As I get older, I become wiser and calmer. At least I think I do (my wife would probably agree).

I constantly question myself and my beliefs and I always try to understand everything and everyone. I try to foster mutual understanding in real life by treating people around me equally and respectfully. That requires to be be able to see and understand many different perspectives.

Anyone can do something against increasing aggressions and radicalizations by simply leading by example.

I recommend to shut down or at least decrease social media usage. If you want to help people, go outside. Be kind. Live an ordinary life. Vote for people with a honorable cause in mind. Try to avoid making generalizations and don't always judge too quickly. Support locals.

Make your life better by making other lifes better. Leave more good than bad behind you.

In the end, that's the only thing you can do. And the more people are like that, the more people you can convince to be like that, the better this world becomes.

Because too many men are insecure manchildren. Instead of learning how to treat women with the same respect as everyone else, they blame them for their failures.

We have some men at work who are like this. They always talk like they're the only ones who get it and that everything young people and women say, is wrong. It's such a weak, pathetic mindset. I consider people "strong" when they don't always put themselves first. The will to self-reflect, to improve and to avoid generalizing are attributes of strong men (strong people in general).

Topics like these show the negative effects of social media. Conflicts are rarely a simple matter of "good vs. bad". That's why I think, that labels like "pro" or "anti" aren't a good way to communicate, except when it's about simple questions.

For example, should civilian casualties on either side be avoided at all costs? That's a clear "yes". A clear "pro" stance is legit.
Another example is Russia's invasion of Ukraine. There's nothing to debate here, it's just completely unjustified and unlawful by international standards.

In case of the current conflict in Israel, there's more it than just being "pro" or "anti". I mean, I think we can all agree that what Netanyahu's cabinet is doing, is cruel. It should be condemned. However, it is important to differentiate between Netanyahu/cabinet and Israel as a whole. Same as it is important to differentiate between Palestinians and Hamas. Furthermore, it is also important to take Israel's situation and the historic oppression of jews into account.

We can and we should condemn any attacks on civilians, whether it's an attack from Hamas on civilians of Israel (and other nations) or from Israel (Netanyahu) on civilians of Palestine.

I also think we can and should support a two state solution, meaning Palestine as an independent country.

However, we can and should also take Israel's fear of being eradicated on the arabian peninsula into account and understand, that they need safety guarantees.

And we can and should agree, that any oppression against jews need to stop worldwide.

That's why I think, such labels like "pro" or "anti" are often bad. They just lead to more division. Conflicts can only be solved by attempting to understand each other. By talking with each other and making compromises. It's legit to take a clear stance about certain questions (like the importance of avoiding civilian casualties at all costs and condemning those who execute it), but generalizations and adding fuel to the fire should be avoided, as it achieves nothing.

And time and time again people say Elden Ring is a GOAT game contender, and maybe it's just another one of those that I will never get through.
My advice is: Don't listen to what other people say. There are always games, that are being extremely hyped, but that doesn't necessarily mean, that you have to play them or that you will enjoy them. Each one of us has different interests and tastes and even if a game is objectively great, still doesn't mean that you have to play it. Stick to what you want to play and play that.

In regard to Elden Ring, I was kinda in the same boat. I played DS1-DS3 and BB. I don't see them as the pinnacle of videogame history, but I really liked playing them.
But even though I liked them, I was thinking hard about whether or not to play Elden Ring and ultimately decided against it. Why? After playing 4 Souls titles, I had kinda "seen it". I mean, the games are great, but it's the same/similar formula over and over. I rather wanted to play something different instead of another Souls game.

On top of that, the open world was a huge turn-off for me. In general, I'm not against open world games (games like Fallout or Skyrim are among my favourite games of all time). But games don't necessarily have to be open world for me to enjoy them. I would have rather played another "normal" Souls game with shorter playtime than one that takes 100-150 hours to finish.

Time is precious and limited, so play the games you really want and not because someone said you have to play it.

But some (not all, some!) participants of some of the protests that we could see here in Europe evidentally wish Israel to extinct. These extremely expressed "opinions" aren't okay anymore. Israel is using Hamas as an excuse to massacre innocents by the thousands
And why would they want that?

Innocent civilians from Israel and other countries have been massacred by Hamas two weeks ago. Israel has the duty to protect the people within their borders. If the danger of Hamas arises from within Gaza, it should at the very least be somewhat understandable that they try to locate and eliminate the terrorists. In contrast to what Hamas did, Israel at least tries to avoid civil casualties.

My point is:
Stop brainwashing yourself by consuming one-sided, unreputable media.
This conflict is complex. It can't be divided in a "good" vs. "bad" side. Both have made mistakes in the past. And Netanyahu is definitely a figure that should be removed from power. On the other hand, Israels difficult situation on the Arabian peninsula and the historic worldwide suppression of jews should at least be understood and considered before taking such an extreme stance like certain people here.

Innocent civilians must be protected, yes, but that applies to all of them, regardless of whether they're from Palestine or from Israel. And terrorist organizations like Hamas can't be allowed to exist, because they threaten the life's of innocents. Of course, this also applies to politicians. Israel can do better than elect someone like Netanyahu, that I'm sure of.

This world needs more mutual understanding and deescalation, not people who fuel the flames by spreading fake news, fake graphics or look at situations just from one perspective.

There seems to be a misunderstanding. I do not feel entitled to ad free Youtube. I just don't like the direction Youtube has taken. Once they were a site where people could share videos without earning money in their minds. I was cool with that and would have accepted small ads here and there. Now they are everywhere, for minutes, even between videos. They became necessary to fund thousands of video creators since everyone wants to earn money these days. I'm not interested in watching them. It's as simple as that. Youtube isn't important to me, so as long as they throw countless ads onto me, I don't feel the urge to visit their site anymore.

So, do you have any proof who did it, then?

Don't get me wrong:
We all have the same opinion about civil casualties. They should be avoided at all costs, regardless of which group they belong to. At least, I hope that still unites us.

But after reading through several topics here, I think some people don't quite get the facts straight and are way too invested into this. They only believe anymore, what they want to believe. I mean, your post suggests that both Netanyahu and Biden lied, but what proof do you have?

If I don't know something, I try to stay rational and avoid jumping to conclusions. Most importantly, I don't believe each and all sources, especially not from Twitter and alikes.

What I wanna say: Some people should take a deep breath once and a while...

What happens to Palestine citizens is not okay, but so is what happened to Israel and other nations citizens 1.5 weeks ago. This conflict is complex and can't just be divided into a "good" and a "bad" side.

That's why it's important to stay rational. It's okay - even needed! - to criticize Israel for Palestine civil casualties. On the other hand, what Hamas did was absolutely cruel, because they intenionally and deliberately targeted civilians. They should be called out, too. That's why it's wrong to just demonizing one group and glorifying the other.

If Youtube would backpedal on flooding everyone with ads and make it back like it was pre 2013, I'd probably accept ads to some extent. I think, some people here are way too invested in this and overlook some aspects. People, who are against Hamas and were shocked by the events that took place from 1.5 weeks ago understood, that Israel had to react. They way they reacted is questionable, no doubt about that, and I wished they would have done it differently. So even if it is hard to understand to some people here, I can say, that you can be against Hamas but also against mass-attacking the Palestinians in Gaza at the same time. That's why it is best to stay as calm and rational as possible about what happens there while trying to avoid demonizing one group more than the other. Maybe some people here live in internet echo chambers, I don't know, but most people in real life I have spoken to see it the way I described above.

Part of the problem is: Many people are unable or unwilling to understand, that conflicts don't always have "a good" and "a bad" side. They fail to put the history and several other aspects in the right context and see the bigger picture.
