I disagree. The contrast between new and old is absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't a big fan of the 2.5 HD from Octopath. This blows it out of the water.

I'm not a big fan of Star Ocean, and normally graphics aren't something I give much thought to as long as the game is fun, but I really can't state how beautiful I find the art direction.

There is a simple solution to this: Quit fucking shopping at places that are being blatantly grossly anti-consumer. If everyone in the world deleted the McDonald's app over this and stopped shopping there, McDonald's would be forced to pursue a more traditional marketing path instead of trying to force users to use their app. Unfortunately the offer of "free fries Friday" or what the fuck ever is too much temptation for the average person. In exchange for pennies on the transaction McDonald's gets to streamline their ordering, reduce the number of cashiers they need, and protect themselves from liability in one fell swoop. Anyone pitching a fit about self checkout should be far, far more upset by the trend towards app-based sales.

Imagine having a melty over a fast food place having an app.

I think people asking Miles to not be called Spider-man is missing the point tbh. Across the Spider-Verse and the Miles Morales very much stress the point that he is Spider-man and not just a side kick.

The 'You don't deserve it' people don't seem to be aware that this is very much a meta-narrative for his character at this point.

Miles has been Spiderman for like two decades.

My only issue with integral in the Master Collection is all of the item descriptions are in Japanese. It's been so long since I've played through MGS1 I actually needed the descriptions.

So I'm doing my first play through on the US edition and then I'll just insert the completion data into integral.

CVS basically dictates how many hours a store will have allocated to employees in a week. So the Store Managers would have to balance it out the best they could but I always heard it wasn't enough and that they would be short handed which only left sometimes only 2 people working the front store. Employees would get pissed because of the lack of help end up leaving.

That's basically any retail store with a corporate structure these days.

That said I wish CVS hadn't bought Aetna. They've taken away a lot of our perks. We used to get really good tuition reimbursement, and PTO was allowed to be given as an incentive/reward. One year when we blew our goals out of the water they gave us the last two weeks of December as PTO. CVS won't even let us expense food as a reward.

This is terrible copy pasta.

It's extremely mediocre. The battle system is way to eh late game. The user above mentioned not needing to grind, but that's not really true. The truth is you can't grind because of the XP system.

The combat system actively works against itself. By late game there is always one clearly optimal move to make and it feels like you're just going through the motions. You're stuck watching the same exact animations again and again, and can't even zone out because you have to be ready for the Quick time event. Bosses have unique mechanics, but there's no reason to engage with them at all.

iirc, it was real Rose for most of the mission, but when everything started glitching later on, she was replaced with the AI version.

what I don't get is how Raiden ended up having any real connection with Colonel Campbell in MGS4, when in MGS2, the AI kept making a point of how Raiden never met the real one.

Raiden didn't meat the real one, but real Rose did know the real Campbell.

It could be be a hemorrhoid, it could be cancer, or a variety of other things. Blood in the stool isn't enough to even come close to any type of diagnosis.
