The question of when "a group" should officially classified as "hate group" can be debated.

But cities, states and federal organizations largely in conjunction with the southern poverty law center (the primary experts on hate groups) have very detailed listing of "existing" hate groups.

So if a police officer joins a bowling team and they sit around telling jokes about how mexicans don't bowl well and suck at math is that a hate group? Probably not. If however a Police Officer joins "the Proud Boys" a recognized hate group from Illinois or "We are Change" a recognized hate group in Chicago, it's not a real debate.

The Chicago Police department was founded in 1835. So for almost 200 years, even after the Civil War, Civil Rights and a Black President (from Chicago)... it was just this week they said "you know, maybe our officers shouldn't join hate groups"

And to be fair, A LOT of 80s comedies treat very clear cut cases of sexual assault as 'funny' it's a little shocking watching it in 2020s/post-#metoo.

There is a scene in Cheers where a Norm's boss tries to rape Diane, and threatens to fire Norm if he stops her. Norm does stop him, is fired and then the show ends with this idea that Norm was good guy, but a was a bad employee... for you know stopping the rape.

Thus even though we're suppose to feel sorry for him, Norm's firing was justified.

Like someone wrote this, and a bunch of writers, producers, directors, actors, and the networks censors all said "Yeah a firing a guy for stopping a man raping a woman, that's normal" (Probably in the 80s it was).

Watching the trailer it is unclear who was suppose to be the good guy robot and who was trying to kill John/Sarah.

BUT films do not exist in a vacuum, Arnold was already a big star when Terminator 2 came out. Commando, Predator, Total Recall, even light hearted comedies like Twins and Kindergarten Cop were on his resume. He was a house hold name as an action HERO.

So with the trailer saying one robot is programed to destroy, the other programed to protect, by the laws of action film standards you would assume the guy who is usually the hero in action films was the one who would be the hero here.

While I was alive when T2 came out I didn't see it then, but I don't remember people talking about it being a huge twist that Arnold was the hero. In fact IIRC from the people I knew (mostly pre-teen boys) they were mostly surprised that he was the villain from the first film (a film we were too young to have seen when it came out).

"Arguing with a cop?" are you kidding me? Since childhood it was drilled into my head that no matter what the cop did I had to respond with respect, NOT because he deserved it, but because if i didn't I could be shot and killed (truthfully I could be killed even if I did treat them with respect, but being polite increases my chances of surviving an encounter with the police).

If the State had balls, they could just say NO! The federal government is required to provide former presidents with Secret Service protection, but the State has no obligation to allow federal agents unfettered access to their facilities. The prison could say Secret Service can set up shop at the Motel 6 down the rode, and see Trump during visiting hours like every other person who wants to check on a felon.

That would NEVER EVER EVER be the case, but they COULD do it.

Sure Batman's answer is "Because I'm batman" but we as the audience KNOW what that means. We know he's trained his whole life, turned his body into a perfect fighting machine, study to be the worlds greatest detective and was born super rich so he can buy any weapons or gear he might need. Even if it's unrealistic in real life, in-universe it makes sense why Batman is OP.

In universe if the best Cops in Gotham tries to arrest the Joker. Even if the Joker is unarmed and unable to fight back, as soon as they move in they'll suddenly get a phone call saying their loved ones have been kidnapped by the Joker's goons. Even if they figured he would try that and they put them in hiding or protection Joker will have had someone on the inside.

How? How does he have the resources to do that.

How does he have the resources to build massive elaborate clown themed death traps. Even if you assume he has the money too, when does he have time, what construction crew is hiring between his stays in Arkham.

At a certain level, everything about the Joker suggest he's magic, cause he pulls off stuff that is impossible to do even in the reality of DC.

Doing some stupid math, that would be 22,000 tons. That's the weight of a few fully loaded battleships.

There's no place to hold that in your house, you'd have to buy a big plot of land, probably build a building a la Scrooge McDuck. Plus you'd have to transport it to this land needing many trucks and drivers.

But you say "hey I have millions of dollars so it's no big deal, I'll just pay people to do all that"

But you don't have millions of dollars, you still just have pennies... the people you hire aren't going to just sit around and weight as you count out few thousands dollars, one penny at a time. They're gonna demand bills, checks or credit, which means you would have to take those pennies to a bank to convert it into useable currency.

Converting that many pennies into currency you can use will be a massive undertaking, you would have to hire even MORE people to do that.

Also if everyone in the world is sending you the pennies, you would have billions of envelops, with all that paper and trash to deal with, more people to hire.

It would be a massive job, and not a lot of fun... but you would always have exact change so, win.
