Potentially, but I don't believe the US would ever want PR to become a state. The infrastructure is in shambles, and I don't see the US being eager to invest that kind of money in the island, especially given America's track record of being disgustingly indifferent towards the suffering of lower income minorities in the states.

A large number of Puerto Ricans have a very low opinion of the US. Between things like military testing on Vieques for decades, the Jones Act, wealthy Americans buying up land as many Puerto Ricans are struggling to make a living and forced to sell, and Trump making an ass of himself after Maria hit, the topic of statehood pretty much always leads to an argument. It doesn't help that America has never given a fuck about Puerto Rico.

Thanks for the responses, guys. While I understand it's not perfect, I'm not the sort of person who absolutely needs the best/most expensive set-up. I've made due with my PS4 for quite some time. If I can get the same kinda mileage out of this I'll be content.

My father supported our family by himself making less than $50,000 a year. Granted that was a long time ago, and cost of living has gone up since then.

A friend of mine sent me this link and told me it's a pretty good deal, but I'm basically a caveman when it comes to computers, and have no idea if that's the case. Should mention that my current console is a PS4, so basically anything is an upgrade.

My PS4 is slow as fuck, and with the price of Plus going up, and Microsoft buying a bunch of developers I like, I figured it was time to look into getting a PC as opposed to getting a new console. Is this worth it?

Bloodborne is my favorite game, and honestly, I really don't want this to happen. Lovecraftian horror isn't exactly mainstream, and I don't see Sony making this R rated while giving it the budget it needs. They'd have an easier time adapting God of War. Hell even a Demon's Souls movie would be easier.

Destiny is dead to me. Has been for several years.
I still play Destiny, but it is getting harder to justify investing any serious amount of time in it. It's pretty absurd how the game's been monetized, and now staff members losing their jobs certainly isn't helping their image. Every step of the way, Bungie has been screwed by greedy and incompetent leadership.

Nah he's definitely seriously depressed. This kind of neglect is a huge red flag. The worse your depression gets, the more detached you become from your life and surroundings. Things like cleaning and looking after yourself become an afterthought.

I've never let get this bad, but as my depression has gotten worse, I find that extended periods of time just fly by before I get around to doing simple things like cleaning or organizing. If I were his friend or relative, I would be deeply concerned that he's at major risk of suicide.

Bought the game at launch on PS4 and it was probably the buggiest gaming experience I've ever had. I have multiple clips saved of some of the glitches I encountered, and it's pretty fucking insulting that they ever thought the game ran well enough to release on last-gen consoles. That was a stupid decision fueled by greed.

At its core, it is a solid game, but it was a fucking disaster of a launch. I enjoyed the Witcher series, but Cyberpunk soured my opinion of CDPR immensely. I'm glad people are able to enjoy the game now, but I sincerely hope people don't just forget how bad it was at release.

I miss 261. It was a convenient way to discuss smaller news stories that I might not have otherwise heard about.

And I agree with what others here have said: trolls aside, there was a nice little core community of well-informed and decent people you could have serious discussions with. Even if I didn't agree with someone, they were usually knowledgeable enough that their posts/opinions were still worth reading. Can't say the same thing about CE at all. I also really enjoyed reading people's perspectives on the different laws in the states/countries they lived in. Can't get that from reading a news article.

One thing I dislike immensely about CE is how easily some serious topics can be buried behind pages of moronic threads in no time at all. I'll stick around for now, but I don't post anywhere near as much as I used to.

Great game. As already mentioned, the writing is fantastic and it handles the humor very well, plus the music is some of the best I've heard in a game in a long time. Glitches are common and bothersome though. Some are minor like audio glitches, but others are very irritating and you might lose a lot of progress if you don't save often.

There's a certain villain that you can recruit at a particular point in the game, and my advice is to go ahead and do that even though you lose a little bit of reputation. They're probably the most amusing teammate in the game (although undoubtedly evil), and you can rush to get them right away (it can be difficult at a low level but I managed; they have a lot of unique dialogue you might miss if you recruit them as late as the game expects you to). You can still get the best ending with them on your team too.

The game is hilariously unbalanced though. There are some encounters that'll leave your whole team dead if you can't waste the enemy in a turn or two. Despite all the options you have at your disposal, you'll be inclined to prioritize maximizing your damage, which will lead you to ignore a number of stats (on your ranged characters especially, in order to squeeze out as much dps as possible), and overlook weapon types like flamethrowers, snipers, melee, and unarmed (although they're quite fun and I encourage you to experiment with them).

SMGs are simply busted and are the answer to every problem you might face in a fight, and damage types like incendiary and explosive are way too strong. Basically your ranger with a pyromaniac or explosive background with an SMG modded with explosive or incendiary linkage is going to be attacking more and doing more damage than your sniper or your heavy gunner.

I'm upset that Microsoft owns the franchise now (since I play on Playstation), but all the same I hope a sequel happens at some point. Still have to go back and finish the DLC.
