I'm usually a 15 to 20 percent guy at restaurants where I know the employees aren't even making minimum wage. Unless there's a big issue. But when it comes to all these new places like Starbucks or Subway asking for tips in the checkout, I usually only give like a dollar.

August (to me) really is the only unique month where there is sadness to where all the summer fun is coming to an end but excitement for the season thats coming

Summer is my favorite season so it hits a little harder

I love and hate the feeling

Being from NY, the cold is brutal. People stay in their houses all day. Sun is down at 4 PM. Single digit temps. Travelling at all becomes stressful, and a season where you can have outdoor festivals and foot traffic like a dream

Kinda puts some weight on August, as the temperatures quietly drop and everyone moves on from it all

That said lol winter is my favorite season. You only get that shit up here and it's cool as hell

Pretty soon the summer will come to a close and all these bright days full of activity will be behind us

People started to clown on it after like Season 5/6 because the show abandoned its roots and gave in to the primetime identity it had found itself reputed as. I honestly liked it before everyone started getting shipped and romance became a clear goal of the show.

But yeah, worth the rewatch. Those initial seasons are peak late 2000s sitcom.

yeah the goron trial in the moon is something else, it always takes me like 5, 6 tries on the N64 version to complete it. they made it waaaaay easier on 3DS.

It's a fun game. The transformation masks were cool and it was neat how npcs treated you differently depending on your form. And I like how much of it is optional. It's up to you to seek out side quests and secrets if you want the extra hearts and tools. Some people complain about how few dungeons there are, but I prefer the side quests and the lead up to dungeons in Zelda games anyway. Also the fact that you can actually do certain quests wrong and have to learn from your mistakes to try again made them more interesting.

just like with TOTK, it re-used the engine but added so much variation and different mechanics that it feels like a brand new game. well, compared to TOTK, I suppose it really is with the different map. but still, it's rare to see zelda's have a direct continuation.

if don't have any good music to listen to, the gym is a slog. but with the right music, it's plenty more enjoyable.

People forget that up until the GC times nintendo routinely released the most powerful consoles in their generations (consoles, not portables). It was even true up to the GC, which outperformed the Sega DC and the PS2. Then microsoft came later.

They dropped out of the power race when they realized the GC was super powerful, addressed all of the N64's shortcomings and still did poorly

Exactly. Can you blame them for changing direction? They worked hard to correct themselves after the PS1 crushed the N64 but it did nothing. People would have rather bought PS2's than Gamecubes in the 2000's because they were cheap DVD players. And I think that alone made Nintendo realize it wasn't about pleasing a gamer demographic but the masses as a whole.

You dont know what youre talking about. Nintendo doesnt want to lose $200 per box sold and never have had to do so.

They have a good relationship with the company that would likely supply a high powered solution and itd be no issue to get one made. Hell, AMD has a design all ready to be dropped into any device which is what you see in the hastily put together ASUS ROG Ally handheld.
