Both my parents said their YouTube accounts weren't working anymore on 2 PCs (i installed ublock+firefox for them). Only took me a few minutes how to fix though. Just cleared the website cookies, ublock cache, and redownloaded the filter lists/updates. After logging back in, their accounts seem to be working again. My desktop has been using ublock forever and YouTube is still fine for me though.

Sale is kind of meh from what I looked at. I have a 30% off discount (max $30), still not sure what to buy. I may just get an ipad ($250) as a gift for my niece. I did just buy an Elite series 2 Core controller for $89 from Walmart though.

She has gotten super popular since Margot. I would've never guessed she would be starring in a freaking Japanese isekai anime of all things. I did really like the animated Harley Quinn series on HBO/Max though (haven't watched the 3rd season yet).

I've always really liked it, despite some issues. I played on PC though and had very few bugs in my playthrough and had a few mods installed later on. The biggest bug I remember was some side quests not being marked complete after finishing them. Also, I only paid like $27 at launch for it (gog version).

SH is probably my favorite overall, and she feels almost like the main character at times with her story and development. I don't really like Astarion much, but I know he is super popular among some fans. I wish we got someone else besides Halsin. According to a modder, Alfria may have been a party member at one point in development, as she has several unused flags/approval for various decisions in the game files.

There is far too much useless stuff to loot and empty containers in some rpgs like BG3 and Starfield. I have a looting problem and basically went through all the containers in BG3 in act 1 on my first playthrough. By act 2 though, I basically just ignored almost everything besides chests. Like why are 99% of vases empty? why bother putting them all over the place and making them lootable?

well the Avengers did try to kidnap/murder the mutant messiah during AvX and the fact that the Avengers do very little to help the fact that many groups/governments are committing genocide against the mutants. Then there is Wanda, an Avenger, who wiped out most of the mutants with 3 words.

Sexy character models, sure/maybe. Actually sexual content though? I think western AAA games are generally more accepting of nudity and sex than AAA Japanese games, who like teasing and blue balling the players instead. Also, the west has quite a few erotic games now on Steam and other sources, if you want those types of "games" (though a lot are just VNs).

Minthara got fixed in the new update? Time to kill some innocent refugees! There is also a mod on Nexus to recruit her by knocking her out instead. I hear she is actually a pretty interesting character, but giving up 3 companions and some quests for her is a steep price.

My new character looks like he could be a Final Fantasy protagonist, lol.

Yeah I knew it was buggy, I didn't have that issue but sometimes you'd need to put something in or take it out for the game to apply the weight correctly. But because the setting has Bags of Holding and your character will mention them when picking stuff up I was certain the weight reduction was an intended mechanic. lol

I don't really know why I was expecting anything different, but I'm disappointed in the mod scene so far. Half of it is horny nonsense, and most of the other half is just cheat mods.

The official mod toolkit isn't out yet, so the better stuff is probably going to be after. That said, I really like the combination of Native Camera Tweaks + WASD Character Movement along with Aether's Immersive UI + Better Hotbar (have to manually merge the UI mods). Appearance Edit (change origin characters and hirelings) has promise, but still can cause problems with some dialogue/quest from what I read.

I see a lot of people talking about how Act 3 has major performance issues as well. It basically requires you to have a recent/powerful CPU or you will get noticeable stuttering. I think in the Digital Foundry video, an AMD 3600X with a RTX 4090 would get only about 30-35 fps with a ton of big dips. Even lowering your graphic settings to low, won't help much, showing the game is pretty CPU limited in Act 3.

I am still going slowly through the game, so hopefully the major patch coming will fix this by the time I get there.

So, some people were saying Shadowheart doesn't care if you sleep with other characters in Act 1 and you could still romance her. Well, after wondering why the romance wasn't triggering even though my approval was near maxed, it turns out she does care, and you can't start the romance in Act 1 if you slept with other characters (or started their romance).

I confirmed this by loading an earlier save and using cheat engine to clear the romance flags for the other characters, and her romance dialogue actually was available afterward. So if you want to romance her early, she has to be first before you romance other characters.

I recommend the Thermalright Phantom Spirit (~$40-$48) or the older model, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin (~$35), iirc. If money ain't an issue go with Noctua or an AIO. The Thermalright is about the same cooling performance as the Noctua though for like half the cost.

I saw the Ciri clothes mod on Nexus so created her character to join my group, lol. Not sure if I will keep her, since I found you can't dismiss a custom multiplayer character back to camp or even just get rid of them (wtf). Hopefully someone can make a mod, or Larian decides to patch that or allow full customization of hirelings.

Did anyone find a way to recruit Minthara without losing half your party. I know some on reddit were saying you can skip her quest in act 1 and get her in act 2, but people were saying it might not be intended, as she seems bugged if you get her like that.

Magik is one of the best X-Men characters since she came back like 15 years ago. She is also my favorite character in the Midnight Suns game. Though the New Mutants movie wasn't good imo, Anya Taylor Joy was a great casting for her.

I paid $185 for a Series S (brand new $225 with extra controller bundle, which I returned to get back $40). I mainly game on PC, but hard to beat $200 Xbox in terms of value. Hate the proprietary ssd bs though. I upgraded my PS5 SSD for less than half what it would cost for the Xbox.
