A horror movie being made accessible to you would involve changing the movie, no studio would make multiple versions of the same movie. Thats the great thing about having options, a game doesn't sacrifice anything by having an easier mode. If they changed the game to make it easier to appeal to a wider audience then it would, but that's exactly why these difficulties exist; so people like you or I or most people on this board can experience the game as proper without shutting a door on a whole bunch of other people. For a personal anecdote, my partner did not grow up playing action games at all, they played more casual games like The Sims, and have more recently gotten into RPGs like Final Fantasy. After having played the FF16 demo I can tell you for sure they would probably not be able to play FF16 on its "normal" difficulty, as they haven't grown up honing the twitch reflexes, ability to read an enemy and react quickly in real time that I have. The Rings in FF16 (all of them being applied in story mode) will be great, allowing them a slowdown window for dodging, auto healing if they get low, and even allowing them to build much more interesting and visually appealing combos without having the "spectacle fighter brain". --- 'I will now punch my professor in the face because whatever punishment I will receive will not surpass the happiness I get when team salty mid loses' -Crows |
