It's kinda crazy that any country wouldn't want to be part of America in the first place.

So basically it's the same exact game with a fresh coat of paint after seeing more videos of it.

I think it was mostly the change to Moffat Who, where Moffat was absolutely obsessed with making everything connected and important/overblown, whereas RTD would just have fun with the Doctor.
